For some reason I've always felt the need to make a thread when I change the site's default theme to this Christmas Theme

And I guess this year is no exception. Maybe it's so that users no where to go if they need to leave feedback or if users are confused, they'll see the thread and understand why things aren't they way they use to be. I've actually been using some sort of variation of this theme (which are all mostly the same) every year since 2009.

Maybe I'll make this a multipurpose thread and propose this question (or 2 questions).

Should I host a Christmas theme making competition like I did 2 years ago? And would you compete? In that competition, the winner got to have their theme featured as the default theme for 7 days on Vizzed. I could do something similar again. And for those who don't know, we have a Theme Creator feature which lets you create your own Vizzed theme that you can apply to any page that you're an admin of (profile, music playlist, threads, etc) or even use it as you default site viewing theme.

I wouldn't compete myself since I'm terrible at designing but I would love to see what kind of stuff others can create.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
