It's Bubsy, the mascot that wanted to be the next Sonic,Mario or Crash Bandicoot but failed miserably in the 90s.

Good

Uh the levels are very colourful to look at

You can mute him as his puns get annoying very quickly

The game can be generous with extra life shirts.

Ok on to the bad

Cheap one hit deaths, seriously anything can kill you. Hit a rollercoaster? dead. Fall too far? dead. A car can capture you & drives off screen? dead.

Like other gaming mascots he should have come with either a life bar or some sort of buffer like Sonics rings.

Collecting yarn balls is meaningless,they don't give you an extra life or act as protection. It adds to your score,that's it.

Levels are just cobbled together with some places you need to navigate with jumps.

The slippery controls & movement. Bubsy gains too much momentum & his jumps are as if he's jumping in low gravity. It makes navigating platforms almost impossible.

Lack of any sort of power ups or abilities. He can jump & glide thats it....

The difficulty is ridiculous due to the one hit deaths,especially the boss fights.

As a certain Angry Video Game Nerd would say: What a s*** load of f***!.

Bubsy is still going strong now somehow....

I wouldn't say going strong, but just going. Honestly it just needs a character rewrite, as its just 90's edge the character, which Sonic got away with by being one of the first.
