About trading pokemon between different emulators

Hello everybody!

I'm playing pokemon ruby through the retro game room (thanks a lot to those who made this service possible).
A friend of mine is playing this game too, but he's actually using a different thing, called VBALink.

What I'm wondering is, is it possible to trade pokemon with him, even if the the emulators that we use are different? Does anybody know a way to do that, if there is one?

That is correct, you cannot link the RGR to an outside emulator.
You would either need to wait till the RGR has netplay and get him to join Vizzed (always a great idea ) or download VBALink yourself and start all over again.
You can get VBALink and whatever GBA roms you need from our other website at http://www.get-your-rom.com/
