Bulletstorm Review
Man, I could not wait to do this one. I absolutely love Bulletstorm. It is one of my favorite first person shooters, and brought in some stuff I have never seen before! There is one thing I want to say before I start the review. And that would be, even though this is the PS3 version, and I only played the Xbox 360 version, this is the closest I can review. The reason why is that there is only, Bulletstorm PS3, and Bulletstorm PC on vizzed. Now, without further a do, let us get on with the review!

The game play of Bulletstorm is amazing. Possibly one of the best times I have had in a video game. Now, there is your campaign, and your multiplayer, which is like Halo Reach's firefight in a way, mixed with Gears of War's Horde mode. I love this game mode. I have put in over a hundred hours in the multiplayer in the first few weeks I played the game. There is also a very good story with lots of difficulty game modes. But I will talk about the story in the next section. There are a few key elements which made Bulletstorm feel amazing. One, is the detailed story. The second, is the cool weapon system and upgrade system, which lets you upgrade and buy weapons, after gaining points by doing what is known as skill kills. The higher the skill kill and combo, the more points you get. I loved this system. It made me want to keep doing all sorts of stuff to get those points.

The story is also amazing. With there being a deep story, with hilarious moments throughout the game, it makes it feel like a new genre of First Person Shooters. The characters are also really cool, and the main character Grey, is ridiculously funny. A lot of spoiler related stuff happens so I will not go into any more detail with the story.

The graphics in Bulletstorm are beautiful. The game was made by the same people that made Gears of War, Epic. So you already know there how beautiful it is. Sadly, there are quite a few loading screens, but thankfully, you play way more than you ... Read the rest of this Review

Jak and Daxter HD Collection Vita Review
Ok. I have not done a review of Jak 3 yet but I will tomorrow. Right now, I am reviewing Jak and Daxter HD Collection for the PS Vita. Since there is not a change in any aspect, I will just copy and paste from my previous review and add what needs to be added. Okay. Without further a do, let us get on with the review!
Jak and Daxter the Precursor Legacy

The game play of Jak and Daxter the Precursor Legacy, is pretty solid
for a 3d platforming game. It has a pretty solid set of controls, but is
slippery at times. This means if you let go of the controls, you might
still move for a split second after. I do not know if it was just me or
my controller but that is what happened with me. One thing I did not
like about the game though is the sole fact that you only have 3 hits
and you are dead. You can have a 4th hit but that is if you collect 50
green eco orbs to make for one extra hit point. Now this does seem
appropriate at the time, but quite annoying. It has a lot of funny
moments that happen, mainly including when your character dies. Daxter
will come in front of the camera and say something funny like, "I am
thinking of something sad to say at your funeral like, HOW AM I GOING TO
GET CHANGED BACK NOW!" which always makes me chuckle. The next thing
which will contain a major spoiler is that there are precursor orbs. In
order to get the secret ending, which is not much different then the
regular ending, you need to collect every single orb. Thankfully they
are all not that well hidden and most of them are in plain sight.

Next
is the graphics of the game. Even though the game was made in the
2000's and needs that cartoon like texture, I still think they could
have done a better job. The game looks pretty good and has no frame rate
lag at all. The best part of them all is that there are no loading
screens. How cool is ... Read the rest of this Review

Jak 2 Review
Holy cow it has been a while since a did a review. I think its been about 2 days. But any way, it is time for the next review. Jak 2. Why does every thing keep rhyming? Anyway, I love this game. Now without further a do, let us get on with the review!

The game play in Jak 2 is a pretty decent game. It starts off like Jak and Daxter the Precursor Legacy. However that changes later down the road. You start off platforming and eventually, you get guns! GUNS FOR CRYING OUT LOUD! Wasn't this game rated E last time? Now it is rated T. Go figure. Anyway, I kind of liked this touch. It gave Jak 2 the maturity it needed. Another cool thing is the way the story advances. Instead of collecting your precursor orbs and going to the next area, Jak 2 is mission based. Meaning you can have 2 missions that advance the story. If you do one of them, you advance part of the story, leaving the other part of the story to advance later. I love this. Makes me feel like I always have something to do besides do that stupid gun range, and run over random civilians that do not know how to duck. Oh yeah that is right. There is now aircraft in Jak 2 which lets you get around quicker. Now be warned. It is very hard to control, but once you get a hang of it, it is easy to control.

The graphics and sound seem the same as Jak and Daxter the Precursor legacy, if not a little better. But it is not enough to notice. If you have not read my first one and want to hear my opinion and review on its sound and graphics, it is pretty much the same, so let me paste it here.
Next is the graphics of the game. Even though the game was made in
the 2000's and needs that cartoon like texture, I still think they could
have done a better job. The game looks pretty good and has no frame

Kings Field Review
Time to do my second review of the day. This time I am reviewing Kings Field. I first played this game when I was four years old or something like that. I had absolutely no idea what I was doing when I played it. I still had no idea what I was doing for the most part when I played it a couple years ago, therefore, I have not beaten the game. This review is based on what I have seen of the game, and what I have played so far. So this review will actually be spoiler free, because I still do not know much about the story. Now with that out of the way, without further a do, let us get on with the review!

The game play is actually really good. Kings Field is a First Person Role Playing Game that runs very well. You start off in a place where you can easily die, which includes a monster that can 1 hit you and deep water where you where sink and drown. There are a whole bunch of areas in the game where you can go, but need to level up first by fighting the enemies around you. There are not that many save points, so be careful. There is also a cool feature called warp gates, which lets you warp to different save points and areas. Sadly, you have to find the warp gate keys, and figure out which warp gate they go to which is a real pain. Other than that that is pretty much it.

Now lets get to the graphics and sound. The graphics were phenomenal for its time. Even though today, it does not look that great, it still is a reminder of how good it looked back in the day. The work put into the game is huge. And you can tell when you play it. The sound is also really good. Especially for its time. The sound effects are great and the music is amazing. Every new area has an amazing soundtrack and will get you pumped up every time. Even the starting area has a rocking soundtrack.

This game is extremely addicting. It is amazing how addicting a game can be and Kings field has that in it. The depth is also great because there is so much to do and... Read the rest of this Review

Final Fantasy Adventure Review
Well I am going to do a review on a game I just played recently. This one is on Final Fantasy Adventure. I will be blunt and honest. I do not like this game. But I need to review it because I feel the need to. Keep in mind, there is not much to this game so there will be a short review. One last thing is that I have not beaten this game out of sheer frustration and annoyance. Now, without further a do, let us get on with the review!

The game play in this game is actually what you would expect from a cool game on the game boy. It runs pretty decent and has very easy controls. However. There were a few turn offs that really made me wanna scream. One included, characters kept walking in front of you and every single time you move into them dialogue pops up. This was almost the breaking point. Once I finally got past that frustration, I kind of enjoyed the game.

The sound and graphics of this game has downright the worst I have heard in any video game ever. It sounds very distorted, and looks really bad. But, it is an old game so it is a little acceptable but, still does not change the fact that is very bad.

This game is not addicting at all. I do not see why anyone would spend time on this game more than beating it. Even that is hard to believe. I really think there is nothing to do in this game but kill stuff, advance the tiny plot and level up. That is it. If I am wrong let me know. Like I said, I have not beaten the game out of sheer frustration.

The story is below sub-par. Perhaps one of the worst stories I have ever seen in a video game. If there even is any. The depth is also terrible. There is seriously nothing to do! Like I said, all there is, is to kill stuff and level up. Kill more stuff and advance the tiny plot.

One thing this game has that makes it even more irritating in the difficulty! You die so easy, and it does not seem like there are any save points either! Who designed this game a... Read the rest of this Review
Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy

Jak and Daxter the Precursor Legacy Review
This is possibly one of my favorite games I played as a kid. I have a lot to share with you guys about this game, if I leave anything out, please feel free to let me know so I can edit my review and change it up. Also, I will be doing all three of them at some point and the last one I will do is the Jak and Daxter collection. One last thing. Spoiler Warning ahead. Now, without further a do, let us get on with the review.

The game play of Jak and Daxter the Precursor Legacy, is pretty solid for a 3d platforming game. It has a pretty solid set of controls, but is slippery at times. Gears of War 3 Review
I am back with another review. This time with Gears of War 3! Personally, I love this game to this day, and will never stop loving it. If you have not check out my other reviews on Gears of War 1 and 2 and want to do so, here is the link for both of them. http://www.vizzed.com/boards/thread.php?id=86693 and http://www.vizzed.com/boards/thread.php?id=86699. Okay. Without further a do, let us get started on the review. Hey that rhymed.

So, the game play of Gears of War 3 is pretty much the same as the other two. The interface is the same, weapons are the same, with a few new additions, and the lancer is still the best weapon. The horde mode is different this time around though. This time, you have defenses you have to set up to stop the locusts. This. Is. Amazing. Even though I love the original, I love this horde mode even better. The multiplayer is even more amazing this time around, and still has a big fan base. It is not as big as when it started, but it is still big. There are now medals to collect, and boy do they take a while. And the best part is a new multiplayer game mode called beast mode. YOU GET TO PLAY AS THE LOCUST! How cool is that!? Very cool in my opinion. The last new feature is four player Co-op. How cool is that? No more two player online but four player! Sadly the split screen co-op is only two player.

Let us talk about the graphics now. I love the way this game looks. Though it is not as good as Gears of War 2 was, I love me some Gears of War 3 graphics! It is still made by the same game engine as the other two Gears of War's, Unreal Engine 3. Although this one looks more cartoon like, I still think it is a beautiful masterpiece.

The sound in this game is so much better than the other Gears of War games, because you can hear every little detail from tin cans being kicked to explosions and even kibbles and bits of body parts. Yeah yeah I know. That is disgusting. But This game is t... Read the rest of this Review

Gears of War 2 Review
Ah, this one is my favorite one in the entire series. It is time to review Gears of War 2! If you want to check out my review on Gears of War, here is the link. http://www.vizzed.com/boards/thread.php?id=86693&ref=532454. Now, without further a do, I give to you my review on Gears of War 2.

Im going to start with the gameplay. I absolutely love Gears of War 2. It is my favorite game in the series as said up top. It is very emotianal and made me cry multiple times. Gears of War 2 is a third person shooter just like Gears of War. Most of the things in Gears of War are in Gears of War 2. Chainsaw duels are back, collectables are back and this time has much more to collect, and all your favorite weapons are back, including the amazing Lancer.

The graphics in this game are the best in the whole series. Still made with Unreal Engine 3, but this time with even better graphics. Cinematics and Cutscenes are amazing and look just as great as the gameplay. The character models are rendered even better in Gears of War 2 as well. And there is a new game mode called Horde Mode. You pretty much fight off 50 waves of locusts and try to see how far you can go. Beat wave 50 and you win.

The sound and music in Gears of War 2 is beautiful. I could not imagine better music for this game. The lancer has a cool chainsaw sound that is very realistic. When enemies explode, you can actually hear the body parts turning to mush. Yes I know that is nasty, but the realism in Gears of War 2 is amazing.

Gears of War 2 is pretty addicting. There are four difficulties and tons of achievements for you to unlock. Beating the game on all four difficulties are four of the achievements. There is a multiplayer that to this day has quite a bit of players still, so you can still play that. Then there is the leveling system. Once you reach the max level, you can chose to re tour and go back to level 1. But everything you earned... Read the rest of this Review

Gears of War Review
Time for my next review! Gears of War. I will be doing a review on every Gears of War game including Gears of War Judgement. Keep in mind I am reviewing the first one only right now. Ok, let us get started.

The graphics in this game are actually very good, especially for its time. The one problem is that as of today, the graphics can be considered sub par. The game was made with Unreal Engine 3. So you already know it is a pretty good looking game just by seeing that engine.

The sound in this game is also very good, but sadly just like its graphics, it is pretty out dated. It does have really good music and very good sound effects, but that does not stop the fact that is a pretty old game.

This game is addicting, because there are three difficulties. Once you beat the game, you unlock insane. But you have normal and hardcore to start with. If you are a completionist, this game will make you come back for more. The multiplayer is also very addicting, but barely anyone plays the game so do not be suprised if you can not get in a single match.

Now about the story. Gears of War has a good story if not sub par. The cutscenes are not that well done, but makes you feel like you are actually in the war with Dominic and Marcus. There actually is not that much going on in the story, and there are a lot of time leaps, especially at the end of the game. But if you like a short story as a first game, then this game is for you.

The depth of this game is not that great as of today, because once you beat the game on all three difficulties, and head to the multiplayer, as stated in the addictiveness category, barely any one plays the game anymore. So there is not that much of replay value for Gears of War.

The gameplay is actually pretty unique. It is a third person shooter, that is fast pace and pretty hardcore. You play as COG and your enemy are the locusts. You can go into cover and sh... Read the rest of this Review

Final Fantasy I & II Dawn of Souls Review
I am first going to start off by saying, this game is actually the first Final Fantasy game I beat. Though it was the the Dawn of Souls version, it was the origins version which was much harder. But I have beaten both the Origins and the Dawn of Souls version. I am also changing the way I do my review to see how it comes out. If it is bad, I will go back to the original. Now without further a do, let us get started.

For a classic Final Fantasy game, you have to admit that the graphics were stepped up massively in this version. Even though it is old and still is 2d, that does not matter. Upgrading is key in the overall score. When I first played it the graphics looked pretty good. It was brighter, had more textures, and the towns looked way more detailed. This truly is one of the biggest factors in making a remake of a game.

The sound in this game could have been better but you have to admit, it is pretty good. Listening to that menu music for the first time put a smile on my face. The fact that they added a different music track for the menu is amazing. The music in town is also very good and you can tell how much better all of the music is. The boss music is much more intense as well. Another sound quality is how good the attacks sound in this version. It actually sounds really good and satisfying when you land a hit.

This game is pretty addicting. I just wanted to throw that out there. In this version there is an extra dungeon in Final Fantasy I, but in order to stand a chance you need to get to the max level, which is not that hard at all. As a matter of fact you level up quickly in this version of the game. Which makes you want to play it even more to get there quickly.

The story could have been better. Even for a 1987 game, the classic had a decent story. The Dawn of Souls version added things to spice up the story, like a intro to the game, better dialogue, and more dialogue at that. Other than that... Read the rest of this Review

Final Fantasy XIII Review
Ok. I am going to go ahead and do my second review. This time I am doing a review on Final Fantasy XIII. Be careful or look away if you do not want to see any spoilers. Ok let us get started. The rating may be higher than your opinion, but that is all that matters. It is just my opinion.

Graphics-10: When this game came out I took a look at it and saw how beautiful it was. I thought by seeing the gameplay, "Man, I can not wait to play this." I got the game and loved every single second of it. The game engine is actually something I have never heard of until just recently. Crystal Tools. With that said, this is one of the best looking games I have ever played on the PC and Xbox 360.

Sound-10: The sound in this game is amazing and I love the soundtrack. It has the best battle music and sounds I have ever heard in a game. Every single time I hear the battle music I get goose bumps.

Addictiveness-9: This game is very addicting. It slows down at chapter 13 where the game becomes a grind fest. Now if you like grinding, this game is for you. I like grinding to a certain extent but when it takes hours to get a few upgrades it becomes more time consuming than addicting. Now I will tell you how to put in less hours. Kill Neochu. He or she contains the growth egg which lets you level up faster. Only problem, he or she is way too hard. Try spamming death. But anyway, I digress. All in all, this game is pretty addicting.

Story-8: Now do not get me wrong. The story is phenomenal! I mean it is probably the biggest story I have witnessed in a video game. Only problem though is that it makes no sense half to most of the time. Unless you pay attention and play the game over and over again watching every cutscene and gathering every tiny detail to put it all together.

Depth-10: This game has a lot and I mean a lot to do. There are a whole bunch of side quests/hun... Read the rest of this Review

Two Worlds Review
I am currently doing my very first review. Before we start, note that I have been playing games for 14 years (currently 18) and have played just about every genre out there and know what a quality game is. Now a game can look like crap but be very good. Now that is out of the way, lets get started...oh yeah. To keep spoilers away I will not talk about the story much. Here we go.

Graphics-7: The reason I rated the graphics a 7 was because it was made a few years ago and does not look like the best. However, it does not look like the worst either.

Sound-8: Just like the graphics the sound is pretty good but not great. The sound is actually better than the graphics. The spell sounds are awesome and combat sounds decent. The music is also very good.

Addictiveness-9: This game is very addicting for multiple reasons. One reason is because you have weapons and armor you can collect. The more of that same armor or weapon you collect, the more you can fuse them together to give you more stats. I found this exciting and fun. And there are a lot of side quests.

Story-10: This game has the coolest and deepest story I have seen in a long time. It starts off slow but picks up a little later down the road. This is where I stop because I want this review spoiler free.

Depth-10: This game has so much stuff you can do you will be playing hundreds of hours before you know it. There are tons of side quests, tons of armors and weapons to collect, tons of enemies to kill, quite a few dungeons, and a pretty unique leveling system. Getting to the max level will take you a while but do not let that stop you. Play the game long enough and you will be the max level in no time.

Overall-8: Overall I rated this game 8 out of 10. Great story, amazing depth and awesome music.

So there you go. My first review. Reply and tell me what you think and if you agree with my review.
