Mario Bros 2600 Mario bros for the Atari 2600 is a great game to play. Graphics: The graphics are great for a 2600 the Mario sprite is amazing and the turtle sprite looks pretty good too. Sound: Just listen to the sound that it does have and you'll see that it is pretty great if only they had some game music that plays during the levels. Addictiveness: This game is really addictive to ply NES or 2600. Story: I think I have a possible story for the game. Mario has been called to help someone to fix their plumbing but upon arrival he finds that the place has been reduced to rubble and is half flooded so he needs to stop the creatures that are coming out of the pipes but as they are dangerous to touch he has to hit them from below. He must also get his pay through collecting Coins throughout the game. Depth: This game has quite a lot of depth to it. Difficulty: For a first time gamer it is impossible but after a few goes it's simple. So what have we learned today Retro fans for 1 viz this games a bargain so do give it a go. Excelsior2000 signing out. |

Pacman on the Atari is rather ok I find pacman on the Atari to be pretty fun but the only problem is the graphics on the ghosts are a bit poo. Graphics Now the graphics are kinda weird the ghosts are very holographic and that does get annoying and of course pacman only faces left and right so that does muck it up a bit the PAC-dots are now called wafers due to the fact that the Atari can't make them circular but apart from that the maze is... hey wait a minute did I tell you about the fact that the teleporters are now up and down and take a while to come out of them. I may have found problems with it but it is still okay especially when compared to E.T Sound Now were there are problems with sound it is still pretty good for an Atari game. Addictiveness I would give this game a pretty good rate as I do like it and its game play. Story I find games that don't have stories are good to use your imagination to make one post a comment if you have an idea for a story. Depth Now I wouldn't give this game too much in depth it takes a while to finish so that's bassically it. Difficulty like all games of pacman it is hard but more so because the ghosts don't stay eatable for that long. In conclusion it is hard but fun. |

Donkey Kong (Atari 2600) Now what can you say about this game well it does have a certain charm when it comes to graphics and sound. Graphics This game's graphics are a bit rubbish compared to the NES version but however it has pretty good graphics compared to some other Atari 2600 games (E.T) Sound For a 2600 it's okay but not great due to the fact it has no music unlike the NES so it is good but could have been improved with some music rather than being comforted by the sweet sound of a fair maiden oh wait there isn't any sounds of fair maiden or Pauline imagine(her reaction when Mario left her for Peach) Addictiveness This game is just like all versions of Donkey Kong rather addictive and fun to play can be tricky due to bad graphic in certain areas of the game. Story This game has what is considered to be the most well known plot in video gaming history gorilla steals girl girls boyfriend climbs tall stuff to get to her gorilla dies or gets put in a cage at your local zoo yes for just two pounds you can go see Donkey Kong. Depth This does take a heck ova long time to complete like all games of Donkey Kong. Difficulty This game is rather difficult like its NES counter part. So that's basically all you can say about this game. |
