Legend of Zelda, The - The Minish Cap 06-08-13 09:54 PM	Zelda the Minish Cap So, I've just defeated the final boss of this game, and I decided to make a review about it. I haven't gotten 100% completion and I'm not planning on doing so, no real point to it besides the satisfaction of getting it done. Anyway, this game overall is a wonderful game with a bit of lag and an annoying game to actually start. Overall - 9 - Ya know, this game is wonderful, except the fact of the few problems wrong with it. Graphics - 9 - I regret giving it a 9, but there are no 9.{#} in the drop boxes, so yeah... Anyway, this game CANNOT be played out of Mednafen, someone told me in game chat by the water element, the game should start crashing on you, and won't stop. Other than that, the differences in the graphics of the regular gameboy (the walkthrough I watched), and this game are very few, but they're still irritating. One thing that's unique about this, is that everything's there, so no worries you can still get a 100% completion if you want. Sound - 9 - The sounds of this game are the most expected multi-adventurous tunes and link noises, and of course the text noises. Other character noises appear, but none are repetitive as Link's yelling. Some of the music is off, but it does not affect the feel of the game in the slightest, well for me. Addictiveness - 10 - This game, I actually played it non stop, and never switched games like I do with the pokemon games and hacks, this game had me play it and keep on playing it like Megaman Zero 4, and Pokemon Light Platinum. That's enough said. I don't really feel like this has a high replay value though, IMO Story - 6 - The story is there, and it's kind of entertaining, but is easily forgotten by the end of the first dungeon, this game is mostly about dungeon crawling, and kinstones, that's about it. The story is basically Zelda is turned to stone, evil man makes everything bad, you're supposed to make a powerful weapon to beat him, blah blah, Zelda gets kidnapped LATE, and... Mega Man Zero 4 05-28-13 10:21 PM	I actually do a non pokemon Review~ Hey, look, time to do a Megaman review, I watched a Let's play of this and just had to play it, but first I should state some key differences in the difficulties. Differences in difficulties: the differences are not damage that the enemies do to you, but it makes it harder to get the stuff you need, and you can't restore your energy tanks when you have full health either, I don't believe (correct me if I'm wrong). I think I missed out something, but I could care less. Overall - 9.6 - This is obviously a good game, it's probably one of my favorite megaman games, or games in general, on this site. this game's controls is simplistic if you've played any Megaman Zero game before, and it brings an easier first level to the table. This game has excellent everything and I will explain it all in the other catagories. Graphics - 9 - The only reason why this gets a 9 is because of the turtle boss, when he shoots his laser, it makes your movement choppy and I could never dodge it, and I always had to use 1 energy tank on the boss due to this, but other than that, everything seems to be decent for the platform it's on, also, the anime slides, they are well drawn, and I cried at the end, well almost. ;3 Sound - 10 - This game, it's jam packed with sounds, Zero makes sounds, Ciel makes sounds, the Mavericks make sounds, heck everything that isn't a grunt to the maverick makes sounds. I loved the level music and couldn't help but never speeding up outside of cut scenes, in the actual level. Addictiveness - 10 - This was more addicting than Red Rescue team, every day I had to work at that last level to perfect my skills and actually beat the final boss, and it's so mind consuming on it's replay value and you just want to play it again to get a better result. Story - 9 - The story only caught me confused one time, and that's when I actually read them fully, but the strips I got from speeding up make it beautiful, I never sped up ... Pokemon Quartz 05-27-13 09:25 PM	Serious review for Pokemon Quartz Alright, due to some very helpful tips I've decided to try on my intro to my reviews, so let's start, maybe my stupidity will rub off on this review...  WELCOME TO POKEMON QUARTZ!!! This is a game that's based off of the hoenn region, I kind of forgot the regions name, forgive me for holding down spacebar, with a whole new dialogue of everything, a whole new region to explore that was based off of the hoenn region. If you really look at this, you can tell how much the creator put into this.  Graphics - 9 - Except for the few mess-ups, this game doesn't look as bad as everyone says it does. Sure, some of the pokemon look ugly, or badly drawn, but he put a lot of time and effort into the overworld, and how he switched the types of the pokemon, and had to think of new movesets for said pokemon, and actually put new moves in, and that's only mentioning some of the work he had to put in this. Standard Hoenn looks in the overworld, though. Sound - 3 - The sound is just standard hoenn sounds, so nothing really special to talk about here. Addictiveness - 8 - Standard for all pokemon games, because that's all this game really has to offer. The story may bring a tiny bit of replay value, but we'll just talk about that in the story section. Story - 9 - The story is mostly about a realistic,(not surprising, since of the maturity rating that you're supposed to have)modern day teen in life, you meet new people and get new pokemon, while having a love life with your rival, dealing with the new electric pokemon gang, and unraveling the legendaries, a little different here. Depth - 5 - Again, the love life part, take that away then it's just like the regular pokemon. Difficulty - 6 - Despite training 4 pokemon, I managed to get them at most 5 levels higher than the gym leader's pokemon, so it's really easy to train... Pokemon Mystery Dungeon - Red Rescue Team 05-27-13 01:51 AM	It's very... very... noglastic. Alright, it's time to review another of my favorites, or otherwise Red Rescue Team~ This game was overall very fun and addictive, it wasn't the best in the looks aspect, since it's kind of hard to determine whats around you or not. I think this game deserves a 9.2/10, because of my opinion in the favor of dungeon crawling and pokemon. This all started when I watched the series on TV, I saw this game, and I wanted it so badly. I had to wait until I came to vizzed to actually play it. Anyway, time for the review. Overall - 9.2 - As I said, it's a fantastic game but it has it's problems, mostly with dungeon crawling. The problems can kill you on occasion if you're not smart enough, fortunately, I am... I think? So in conclusion, overall is 9.2 Graphics - 9 - Just that .1 away from getting 10, but still, the graphics have it's problems, as in every game, and no one should be complaining about it really, it's how you enjoy the game, not how it looks.  Sound - 5 - I don't really like the music from the game, and others agree with me. The music can get really annoying if you're trying to listen to something else, besides that, it would have gotten a worse score if it weren't for the wonderful reaction sounds, I loved them, actually makes you pay attention to the text boxes, instead of holding down space and spamming z while the characters talk. Addictiveness - 10 - You wouldn't believe how much time I've spent on this game, not even conversing with the other people on the game, just pressing down space and spamming the A button (I use X for A and Z for B). The variety of missions and the question marks in the info of it grab your attention, and the ranks the way they show them, it makes you want to do the higher ones.
