20G Mode: DDDDDDDDCBA
Starts the game at maximum gravity.

Big Block Mode: LLLLDCBA
All tetrominos are doubled in size, which simulates a 10x5 playfield.

TLS Mode: ABCCBAACB
The Temporary Landing System (ghost piece) does not disappear after Level 100.

Item Mode (Only works on Master Mode)
When selecting Master Mode, hold down Buttons 2 and 3, then press Start. If done correctly, the word "NEXT" should pulsate. In this mode, Item blocks will appear at regular intervals, similar to Versus mode. Unlike Versus mode, all attacks (red item blocks) are sent to yourself.

No Items in Versus Mode

To play a Versus match without items, have both players hold Start as the "Here comes a challenger" screen appears.

 Love this game, but the Plus version of it is much better. Check it out if you like this game.
