Street Fighter: The Movie (v1.12) Review by: SuperCrash64 - 8.5/10
Not a bad gameAlright starting off this is my first review as a site staff So lets get started . This is my review of Street fighter the movie the video game. I,ve heard so many things that was awful about street fighter the movie. So you might think why would cap com make a game movie based off of it. Really I cant say why they would do so. But that's not gonna stop my noisy parts from sneaking into the game and how it plays.
Instructions Basically like any other fighting game out their Street fighter the movie the video game makes you fight a 1 on 1 bunch of matches That mainly use punch or kick combos followed up with special moves.
Plot You mainly pick a character and defeat all your foes and win the street fighter circuit or tournament for that being it.

You can tell Capcom was dealing with midway and their mortal combat series or franchise as Like pit fighter or Mortal combat Capcom would use digitized actors instead of good old Cartoonist style that the original street fighter 2 used to have. Sprites for the most part look pretty good even today I really like the good detail they have, Animation The animation is pretty nice almost all characters have most of their classic animations or different one's that make them move really nicely and pretty smooth. Stages however the stages in this game rather look pretty bland but they do have good amount of detail which is a pretty nice thing to say but however I just find no real creativity within the stages. Graphics rating for this game 8 nice looking sprites. Good animation and some pretty bland stages.
Sound The Sound is not exactly like street fighter 2 at all well at least the voice sampling the voice actors or speech samples rather sound as if they ant really trying. That's probably why people say this game is laughably bad in this case for voice acting yea I would agree with them. Soundtrack pretty much nothing I found appealing about the soundtrack in this game, quite frankly I would say this soundtrack is even worse then what Capcom used for street fighter alpha 3 I just really find nothing appealing about this soundtrack as the some of the soundtracks sound like some loop over of a horror movie or other stuff. Sound rating for this game 5. the voice samples are pretty weak and goofy sounding. the Soundtrack does not appeal to me at all
Addictiveness Even though Some people find this game laughably bad I actually had some quite fun playing this Street fighter game, How often I would play it. Probably about once in a few weeks it's just not 1 of the main fighting games I would play. So addictiveness rating -6
Story Again as I,ve said in other reviews of fighting games All stories or endings of this game is different depending on which character you play as. However I had beaten this game and I didn't find the endings special at all Really only thing I found amusing was they had a Street fighter 2 version of a character theme. There was no real appealing animations or anything. Just different pictures with text. Story rating -5
Depth This game or fighting games in general don,t actually take all that long because its like they are meant to be beaten in 1 sitting .Street fighter the movie the video game does not take long either. You go about I say 13 or 14 fights I can,t really remember because I had not played this game a whole lot. Depth gets a -6 rating
Difficulty The Computer difficulty is not all that hard for me it gets a little bit more harder when you get a whole lot of wins but it's natural . Only real hard foes I found was E.honda , M bison and akuma . Difficulty gets a -5 rating pretty easy game
Overall this game ant all bad the controls were decent and responsive, only thing that bothered me was the endings and speech samples of the game. Overall rating 8.5
