Almost better than the original RetroGameNinja
Overall:
In my opinion, this is one of the greatest arcade games for it's time. It is also possibly one of the best arcade games ever. You can become a giant Pac-Man. Exactly how awesome is that!? Very.
Graphics:
The graphics are another thing that is amazing about this game. The intermissions in this game were better, and less gruesome ( in my opinion, the intermissions in Pac-Man were a tad too gruesome, especially when Pac-Man ate the ghost's skin clear off his body) from the original Pac-Man.
Sound:
The sound in this game is great, but I will never feel that It's better than in the original Pac-Man. The sound in this game was great, but the sound in Pac-Man was memorable. The reason I didn't give this game a ten in sound is because the "Pac-dot" (actually, thing-that-replaced-the-Pac-dot) sound effect was very off. Instead of "wa" or "ka" it would play "waka waka". Apparently the new objects were the equivalent of four Pac-dots.
Addictiveness:
This game is fun to play over and over again. That's why I added the game, Ms. Pac-man Special Color Edition (it has this game in it), to my wish list. There's nothing more to say about the addictiveness, so I guess I should move on.
Depth:
This game was pretty big for it's time. It had a total of 16 different levels. Most arcade games at that time would only have about eight. Again, there's nothing more to say about the depth, so I'll be moving on again.
Difficulty:
This game isn't really that hard. The only real hard part is controlling Super Pac-man. It's almost impossible to turn where you want to go. It's especially hard in the challenge stage.
Wrap up:
The levels repeat after every 16 levels and this game was ported onto Namco Museum Volume 2, Ms. Pac-man Special Color Edition, Namco Museum Remix, Namco Museum Virtual Arcade, and Namco Museum Megamix.
