I would like to see some sort of way to paint blocks in vanilla. You just can't make a barn without painting wood red.

I made a superflat world with bedrock at the bottom, redstone torches on top, and TNT right on top of the torches. You can pretty much guess what happened after that.

I know it's LONG, LONG overdue, but here's the second part to my secret exits guide:

Part 2 - Underground Vanilla Dome &
Bridge

Vanilla Dome 1 – Around halfway through the stage, you will see red !
blocks (or dotted lines if you don’t have the Red Switch Palace activated). If
you have the Red Switch Palace activated, simply jump up the blocks and hit the
? block. If not, make sure you have a Yoshi, then jump with Yoshi and then at
the top of the arc jump off of Yoshi and hit the block. Either way, climb the
vine that pops out and use the key on the keyhole to unlock Vanilla Secret 1.
Vanilla Dome 2 – About halfway through the
level, you will find a ? block at the surface of some water and a thin layer of
coins above it, with a thick layer of blocks above that. Go right, then up and
take a left. You will see a P-Switch. Run through the wall of coins, then hit
the switch when you get to the wall of blocks. Quickly run through the coins,
then jump and fall through the other formation of blocks/coins. Swim through
the maze and locate the key, which you know what to do with, and you’ve
unlocked the Red Switch Palace.
Vanilla Secret 1 – Halfway up the stage, fly
up to the left. If you see the pipe that extends to the right from the left
wall, go into it. If not, then go farther up the stage and try again. Once
you’re through the pipe, dodge the Chargin’ Chuck and cut the tape to reveal…
THE SECOND STAR ROAD! Now, if you got the Donut Plains Star Road, you have two
access points to Star Road!
Cheese Bridge Area – After you reach the end
of the level, fly UNDER the end gate to continue and go through the second gate
you see. This will give you access to the Soda Lake stage, which, when
completed, will give you the… THIRD STAR ROAD!

tiber1976 : You forgot to put that if a zombie is on fire and it hits you, there is a chance that you will be set on fire. This happens regardless of what caused the fire, i.e. lava or daylight.

Minecraft's music used to make me feel so sad that I couldn't bear to listen to it. Then after a while, it dawned on me, and now I love it all. It doesn't make me feel lonely as much as just plain sad. Though when I'm mining, it can make me feel a bit alone.

My favorite mod is Industrial Craft 2. It has several machines that can help you out with the game, such as the Macerator that can double your mining output at the cost of energy. It also has a new crops system and new electric tools that will never break but must be charged in order to work. There are some ways to get diamonds without getting the ore, but those ways are balanced by the materials put in, such as a whole STACK of coal for one diamond. Overall, a fun mod and definitely worth your time.

I dislike the Ghasts because they can blow holes for you to fall right into lava and can shoot from 100 blocks away, almost infinite when you consider Nether conditions. Yes, you CAN deflect their fireballs and shoot them back at the Ghast, but if they attack you from behind, you're a goner. The only good thing about them is their tears, which can be used to make potions of regeneration.

I play with some mods, like Industrial Craft 2 and Buildcraft, but not with modpacks like FTB. I prefer balanced mods. For example, Industrial Craft 2 has a way of making diamonds without finding diamond ore, but in order to make them, you need a stack of coal as well as some obsidian, bricks, or iron. I still like to play vanilla, though.

I don't think that there should be too many mods on the server, as some people prefer vanilla minecraft. That being said, Industrial Craft 2 would be cool to have, as well as Buildcraft. I think the server should be named, "Vizcraft" or something similar.

How about trying "budder" as your seed? It will spawn you just outside of a HUGE mountain range, so long as you are using the Large Biomes setting. It's awesome.

EideticMemory : Yep. I once actually thought I had found a stronghold because I found silverfish. It was only a long time afterward that I found out that Block 97 CAN, in fact, spawn outside of strongholds and in Extreme Hills biomes.

I love the extreme hills biome. It is the only biome that you can find emeralds in, and you can rarely find Block 97 too.

Personally, I just choose my own mods to play with and don't use a mod pack. I might play FTB once in a while, but other than that, it's one or two mods at a time.

One time, I was descending the ladder into my mine to get some ores and other stuff, when I saw a creeper in one of my shafts. It came towards me and I tried to kill it, but all I had was an iron sword. It blew up my mine.

Another time was when I was outside of my house at night and a creeper spawned IN one of the fence blocks forming my fence. I tried to kill it by using the old knock back method, but it wouldn't go as far as it needed to and it blew up a corner of my house.

Mine would have to be the Blaze. It's so interesting to speculate as to why they are in the Nether Fortress and even why the fortress exists at all. Of course, they also give you blaze rods, which make brewing stands, to make potions, that I love making.

The best burger I've ever had was at Louie's Lunch in New Haven, CT. That's where the hamburger was invented and it just tasted great. I had it pretty much plain, but it's still the best, even without bacon.

Personally I choose to have one file for Mega Man and one file for Bass, and do each level one after another. I personally don't worry about the CDs. It really gives a different experience for each level, as they are designed so that there's one Bass path and one Mega Man path.

Astro Man isn't so tough. All you have to do is get the Magic Card from Magic Man and use it against him. As it can be aimed upwards, it should help. It also damages him more.

You can get the Rush Jet before beating Needle Man. Just beat Shadow Man and on the next stage, select his weapon and hit right. Then hit start. You'll select a weapon that's not listed. You won't have any energy for it, but you can fill that up later. You can do the same for Rush Marine using Spark Shock.
