Ok so steamers I would call them, but this means I am one too. What steam games do you play the most? You can list a few of your top plays that you would play most of the time. For me I am getting around to playing more if I can the game I play or tend to play when I can is Freedom Planet. I haven't been able to getting around to doing what I want for the game like collecting things for steam, and to upgrade my level too. But, one day I will have the time its just not now sadly maybe next year or something. Anyways what about you guys those who play steam? Since I would like to know and on steam there is a lot of games I haven't heard about.

I haven't been playing a whole lot of Steam games lately, but I'd have to say that the ones I play the most would be Call of Duty, Call of Duty: United Offensive and Call of Duty 2. Prior to trying the original PC games, the only frame of reference for the Call of Duty franchise was Finest Hour, Big Red One, CoD3 and World at War: Final Fronts on the PlayStation 2, which I really enjoyed, but the first three game that were PC exclusive were just fantastic, and I would go as far as to say that Call of Duty 2 was an absolute masterpiece. Other than that, I really enjoy playing Brawlhalla, even though I' pretty terrible at it. I git rekt almost every single match lol

I have over 100 games but recently I've mostly been playing Lovely Planet, Garry's Mod, and AdVenture Capitalist.

They're all pretty good games, though adventure capitalist is just a clicker game it's still really classy and I like it. Nice time waster.

m0ssb3rg935 : That's quite a number of games you have there. I don't think I would play those games though. Since they are not really my genre type of things to enjoy while playing. And its ok, we are all not meant to be good at  a lot of games, the most important thing really is to have fun when playing. I mean its cool to get really good at a game when you want too. Even I am not good at all RPG games I play to enjoy and have fun. I would be lying and say its not true that I am good at some, lets take FFX for an example. I'm really good at that game.

yoshirulez! : Wow I'm not surprised, since I feel you have been on steam forever lol. Yep those are definitely the top games you play because I see you play the game. Oh...adventure capitalist sounds fun....I do like point, and click games. So before I judge the game I'll look it up and see if its something I will play.

Have several games that enjoy playing here and there; but, the ones I enjoy most out of my library are probably:

~ Borderlands Series (BL2 and Pre-Sequel) Due to fact that enjoy the witty humor/characters in game alongside the varied/different gameplay would experience in most story based shooters. Several factors being that I enjoy how the game actually levels up with your character and even after you beat the game you can still play entire game again and earn newer things alongside having the enemies be tougher if so desire. The fact that unlike most games where have to wait for teammate to revive you, if you manage to kill an enemy while in peril/near-death mode you can actually have a "second wind" where you come back allbeit with lower health and armor but still enjoy feature.

~ Binding of Issac (Rebirth/Afterbirth DLC) This one is mostly because I usually try to be a completionist on almost any game I try to play, unless the requirement is super ridiculous that don't even wanna bother/get frustrated over. But say this game several times being played by youtube channel enjoy and got interested in just how much there was to the game and all features were made aware of. From difference in life, differences between items, how certain bosses could come into play, what objects can help with what, so much to learn and see in the game that can't just be obtained from 1 single runthrough, or heck even 8 at times. It's only added on more with the Afterbirth DLC available for the game, alongside certain challenge the game gives you which only unlock even more objects/items for you to mess with. I currently have 598 overall on this one game xD so....think can say it's definitely worth the money if you really want something that could suck your time away...that of course being if the game interests you in the first place however.

~ The Darkness II (2) Again for same reason as Borderlands I enjoy this game because of how different it felt to me from the norm of average story based shooter games. If have ever enjoyed a game where you're human yet have some kind of foreign ability that you wouldn't expect a normal person to have/be alive from while having contained inside (Ala Infamous/Deus Ex) then you'd see a great appeal within this game at least gameplay wise. Taking the normal aspect of a FPS game and blending it with an ability can be used for offense/defense; again however, just like with Borderlands it separates itself with fact that has a unique feature to it. That being that like one would expect with "the dark/Shadows" the thing that fixes/basically makes disappear is "light" so let's say you're exposed to flashlight attached to a pistol/SMG or hallway light, you'll lose your ability to use the "darkness" and if don't find some shade anywhere you'll ultimately lose your life as well. Since it's what is now powering you practically.

There are other games would list like System Shock 2, (362 hours overall) Sonic CD, Deus Ex, etc. But don't play those games as "often" as ones listed above even if do have more overall hours with them.

Lately what I've been playing the most is Borderlands 2, Team Fortress 2, and Civilization 5. I try to cycle out games when I get bored of them. And the time that takes really varies. lol

The Dark Souls trilogy combined is probably what I have the most time in for all of Steam

I love Freedom Planet. That game and Terraria are my two favorite on there! (They both have really good pixel art too!) I won't talk about Terraria so much because I've already explained to you why it's so great. But Freedom Planet. . . boy does this game take the cake!

Freedom Planet is like. . . Classic Sonic.

With a story, and new moves, and better gameplay, and great voice acting, and just. . . tons of fun! I love how the game looks, plays and feels. I also enjoy how they took more from Chinese culture than Japanese Culture for once. The Chinese have a very rich history if you ask me and I was always a bigger fan of them than the Japanese.

One other game I put quite a few hours into was X-COM. UFO Defense, and it's sequel- Terror From the Deep.


They are tactical shooter games where you have soldiers. . . move them around a map, investigate UFO crashes and stop aliens from killing/abducting people. The game is very, very deep and hardly cheesey. It creeped me out a few times, and even felt dehumanizing. However, once you got the ball rolling, and passed the insane difficulty curve, you could really have some fun with it. . . .

Or hurry up and beat both games because you're sick of the stress and the repetitiveness that the late game starts to deliver. It's unfortunate.

Oh yeah, and mind control. Some aliens can use mind control to make your soldiers panic even decide their actions for you. . . You can learn the same technique as well. . . eventually. Once you get to that point the game becomes way too easy and time consuming because you're trying to play it as safely as possible. . . and that way takes about twice as long.

Ugh.

It was a good game though. Both of them were, I don't think I'd play either of them again though. For my tactical needs, I'll probably be delving into Dwarf Fortress. . . if I feel like putting up with random glitching and trying to understand the complicated thing.

Pretty much only Dota 2, sometimes I play Fallout 4 or Skyrim though.

The Steam game I play the most is Sonic Adventure DX. I don't play much of anything on Steam, but I've played that game since I don't have a controller that I can use to play Dreamcast games on Vizzed.

TF2 and GMod.

Well, I haven't been using Steam for very long, but I'll list a few of the games I've played quite a bit, and explain a little about each of them to give the reader a bit of insight in to what kind of games they are.

Doom 3 BFG Edition -- Most gamers have at least heard of the Doom franchise. 3 is by far my favorite of them all, and this version of the game also includes 1 and 2 for the fans of what made the franchise the sensation that it is. It also includes all the extras and DLC for 3, which is another big plus. It's a FPS with a very dark / tense atmosphere, plenty of jump scares, and very mature content. You play as a Marine who is on a research laboratory on Mars, and the minions of Hell end up spewing forth for some unknown reason. As one of the few who weren't immediately massacred when they appeared, it's your job to send out a request for assistance, as well as trying your best to get off that big red rock alive.

Tower Defense any thing -- I love Tower Defense games. Tower Defense is the genre of where there is a preset path that spawned enemies walk down, and at either random / pre-set places around that path you build towers or place units that attack the spawned enemies as they try to reach your base at the end of the path. These games generally require a lot of planning and strategy to make sure that each enemy in every wave spawned doesn't reach their intended destination.

Grey Cubes -- This game is another incarnation of the classic Brick Breaker games. Just like others in it's genre, you control a pad at the bottom of the screen, and use it to keep the ball bouncing around from passing in to the bottom of the area, causing you to lose it ( or lose a life, if you prefer it be called that ). The game features a lot of your classic Brick Breaker power ups, such as increasing the size of your pad, splitting the one ball in play in to 3, or causing the ball to become magnetized, making it more likely to hit the "bricks" ( or cubes as the name implies ) that you are tasked with destroying. There are also down grades to look out for, one of which makes the ball curve off course randomly, as well as speeding the ball up while it's changing trajectory. It can be hard to obtain the power ups and avoid the down grades since they fall toward the bottom, and you can't afford to miss the ball to grab / avoid them.

The "Sakura" Franchise -- This is a bit of a guilty pleasure of mine. Due to the nature of the games, I can't really go in to a ton of detail about them on Vizzed, but they are extremely fun to play, albeit in a mindless kind of way. The one I play most would be Sakura Clicker, since it's a great way to kill time, and I can completely turn my brain off while doing so. Plus, who doesn't like attractive anime girls, ya know? XD ( Not a serious question lol ).

I haven't been getting around to playing my Steam games much, but here are the ones I've been playing most recently

Team Fortress 2 (with 1512 hours)
Borderlands 2 (with 116 hours)
Robot Roller-Derby Disco Dodgeball (yes, that's it's real name. 33 hours)

Team Fortress 2 is a multiplayer FPS with 9 classes, all with their own different play styles. With that, there's 100+ maps you can play on that Valve has accepted into the game, so that's not counting all of the community content still on the Steam Workshop that you can download and play. There's also tons of different weapons to use, a bunch of character customization with cosmetics, and more crazy stuff on top of that. The game's current state isn't perfect right now, but if everything else is what you're into, it will always have you coming back for more. (feel free to apply this to the rest of the games I'm about to describe)

Borderlands 2 is another FPS that offers 4 characters (6 in total if you count DLC characters) all with their own special abilities and skills, which you can later upgrade when you level up with the EXP system. You earn EXP by doing things such as defeating enemies or finishing quests. With that said, the game offers a ton of those quests, and loot. Oh god the loot. It's just might be what keeps you coming back the most. You can find it doing just about anything, and they come in 7 different rarities, 7 different weapon types, and they all have their own (usually randomly generated) stats, names, and quirks. 

Robot Roller-Derby Disco Dodgeball, or Disco Dodgeball is a first person Dodgeball game where you play as a robot trying to defeat other robots. You can play it online, locally, or just by yourself. It features a lot of different modes such as Arcade, where you try to defeat every bot in a span of a couple of waves over 8 levels, progressively getting harder. There are multiple different trickshots you can make in the game, different maps, etc. The game has a good soundtrack, but some people just won't like it. Good news for those people, in the settings you can load your own music files from a directory on your computer. The game is also extremely flashy, but you can turn off and on pretty much every graphical feature there is to have it your way.

This ends an absolutely horrible post that took me 2 hours to write.

Back when I was able to play, the game that I played the most was Rocket League.

Since the last time I posted I've actually played a couple games, those being Bubsy in Clawed Encounters of the Furred Kind, which I did actually enjoy, and The Musaic Box which is a point and click involving the arrangement of blocks to form various classical and folk songs into the proper order. It's a very interesting puzzle game.

As for bubsy, I don't see why people hate it so much. It has a lot of flaws yeah but it's not bad if you can keep from making mistakes

Starbound ~ 127h

I love this game and I've really enjoyed following how it develops over the years. It's one of the few games I've ever pre-purchased. I remember how excited I was together with my brother and his two friends, waiting for the game to be published on Steam, ready to download and install the second it's there. Unfortunately these things never work out and we had to wait for over three hours for my brother to get the game, since his internet connection wasn't the fastest. I'm quite happy with version 1.0 but there are a few small details they changed and I wish they did differently.

Terraria ~ 118h
I can't really compare which is better, Starbound or Terraria but the latter introduced me to sandbox games and that's why it's an important game to me. It's also a challenging game and I recommend playing it with friends whereas you can easily finish Starbound alone (although it gets a bit lonely...) I really like that the monsters are all unique and colorful in Terraria and there are plenty of different kinds of items to craft from their loot. I also need to thank my brother for playing the game with me since if I was alone I would still be banging my head against the wall with the Hardmode.

Skyrim ~ 107h
Before buying the game on Steam I had it on PS3 and played it for almost 100h before realizing what a huge mistake it was. With the PC version came the mods and the rest is history. I haven't played in a long while but I know of a few mods that I really need to try. Oh wow just thinking about it now makes me want to play again.

Sid Meier's Civilization V ~ 79h
I feel like I haven't even touched this game yet since my dad has played it for 1004h according to Steam... but there was a period when I was obsessed with Civ V. It's a love-hate relationship because I love building strategies but at the same time the game brings out the worst in me. That feeling when you were just about to build a wonder after 50 turns of waiting and someone beats you to it after turn 49... or when you desperately needed some resource and were about to expand to its direction and that neighbor of yours builds a city next to it... I have cursed and shed a few tears but it's all worth it once you conquer the entire map!

This is an MMORPG I started this spring and have since gotten bored of it. There's not much to tell since to be honest I feel like I wasted those 74h when I could've been experiencing something else. But I guess many MMORPGs are like that, you get overly excited about them and at some level you realise that it's not that fun anymore.
