One of my favorite books was always Watership Down. It's a tale about a bunch of rabbits and their epic quest to find a new home. I read it in my advanced English class in 8th grade and loved it. I highly recommend it for the younger users here. They also made a cartoon adaptation, but the animation quality is so low it's laughable lol.

My favourite book would be on roald dahl or Dr Seuss books these are the ones I would most known to read by for. Because they are books I can read. I'm thinking of even getting back to reading goosebumps if I can. Sadly I don't read as much as I used too but I want to try and do that when I can.

I don't really read a lot of books, so I have a problem picking one.
Since it was my favorite at one point the most likely choice is Romeo and Juliet, I love really old environment settings, and it was written by someone who lived near that time.
Also the rhyming was so witty, and the book is so quotable, I was personally more interested in how the other characters Interacted rather than the leads.
I was also the only person around who didn't need to flip to the translation page constantly.

There are other books I'm still reading that I really like, but my favorite book that I have finished reading is 101 Ways to Bug Your Friends and Enemies by Lee Wardlaw. It isn't just a list of ways but it's a good-size novel that's pretty funny and hard to put down. It's the 3rd book in a series with the first 2 books in order being 101 Ways to Bug Your Parents and 101 Ways to Bug Your Teacher.

pennylessz : Romeo and Juliet is great, I love almost everything that has to do with Shakespeare. I read a ton of his plays long before I even took a Shakespearian class in high school. I remember I had to do a project, and I basically continued one of his plays by an act, I forget which one, maybe it was Romeo and Juliet, but I had fun doing it, because trying to think how people would talk and getting into his mind to see how things would work is fun. I can't go one book by him without trying to imagine what the language was really like back then lol.

I haven't read many books recently, but my favorite book is currently Eldest from the Eragon series of books. Eldest is the 2nd book in the series and it's mostly my favorite because of the end. I have yet to read Inheritance because I'm lazy, but I already know the ending because a friend in 6th Grade spoiled it for me so whatever, ha.

"The Count of Monte-Cristo".
No book has changed me as much as that one.
It almost converted me into Christianity, even.

I hate to admit this, but I always loved the Harry Potter books when I was younger. They really are captivating stories for a young audience, and are quite a fun experience to read if you haven't seen the movies yet ( the movies take away from the "magic" of reading in my opinion ).

My favorite book is Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Last Straw. I feel nostalgic reading the book, as it's the first Wimpy Kid book that I read, and one of the first books mostly for entertainment that I read, as I used to read non-fiction when I was younger.

After reading the entirety of the NERDS series, my favorite book of all time is NERDS 3: The Cheerleaders of Doom by Michael Buckley. Like all the books in the series, it goes very deep with the plot and theme development. Since I took a creative writing class at school last trimester, I'm able to appreciate literature way more, and it's easier to tell which books are absolutely exceptional.

My basic summary of NERDS 3 is that the main character, Matilda Choi, has to switch gears from liking wrestling and punching people in the face to becoming a cheerleader for her spy mission. It's not that that makes the book great, though. The rest of the plot, without spoiling anything, involves alternate universes and other complications. All of it combined makes for the most amazing book I've ever read. I can't imagine how much work went into this book, let alone the whole series.

My favorite book is Redwall. Yes the first book of its series, pretty much of the same name. The Other books are almost just a good but I really the first book better. They all have amazing stories and lovable characters, whether it be the heroes, villains, or just the support characters.

There's not too many books that I would consider my favorites, seeing as how I haven't actually read anything that wasn't required for a college class since high school. But, going off of what I remember from my childhood, I would say either A Series of Unfortunate Events or the Twilight series (yes, really).

Hm, I don't read much anymore but I remember loving the Warrior Cats books. I don't know, maybe because I love cats?

Though looking back on it I probably would have found things I didn't particularly care for.

I also love the Redwall series, even still, too bad the writer is dead ;;

There are a lot of books that I like, but my favorite is probably House of the Scorpion. I don't know if any of you guys have read it, but it is phenomenal. I had to read it in 7th grade, and we were supposed to do one chapter a day or something like that, and I ended up finishing the book in two days because it was so good and I just couldn't put it down.

Essentially, without spoiling too much, the story is about a clone kid that is treated like garbage because in this futuristic world, clones are viewed as subhuman. The story takes place in Mexico, at the house where a super powerful drug lord and his family lives. I want to give away more information that would make it sound more appealing, but I don't want to ruin it in case anyone decides to read it!

There is a sequel as well, titled "The Lord of Opium." It isn't nearly as good as House of the Scorpion, but it's pretty decent.

At the moment, Farenheit 451 (by Ray Bradbury) is my favorite book. I really like dystopian novels and I like this one because it isn't too far removed from what could happen in the near future if we become too close minded and stop engaging in deep meaningful thought and conversation.

Essentially, this book presents us with a future American society where books are outlawed for no clear reason aside from a lack of interest and hostility towards them in general. When the main character, Guy Montag, a fireman (one that burns books instead of puts out fires), discovers the pleasure books can bring, he begins to question his profession and examine the life he's known with a completely new outlook. Overall, I found it to be a pretty interesting read. I like books that you can draw comparisons between the life and society in the book and those of the real world.

I know that it's played out, but my favorite book is probably the Great Gatsby. I read it a few years ago, and while I know everyone reads it, I did think it was incredibly well written, as apposed to most books that we read throughout high school.

Also, the movie is pretty good, because of Leo, of course.
