A year ago I rented out 16 Minecraft Accounts and gave the users who rented those accounts the option to renew their account for another year. Only 6 users renewed their account which means I have 10 Minecraft Accounts that I'm willing to auction off for Viz (EDIT: Just 1 account left). This should be a great opportunity for anyone who has been wanting to check out our Vizzed.co Minecraft Server.

The prices of these accounts will be based on what they were auctioned for last year multiplied by 2. Every few days I'll reduce the prices of the accounts until they sell so if you want to make sure you get your hands on a specific account, be ready to pay a premium price.

You'll be able to renew these accounts once a year for 25% of whatever you get the account for. You cannot change the name, password or skin of the account you're renting since the primary purpose of these accounts is to be used with the Pokemon Kanto Region World on the Vizzed Minecraft Server (I created them to be based on their sprites from Pokemon Fire Red). Us Minecraft Server Admins can change your "display name" on the Vizzed.co server so that users see your username instead of the Minecraft account name.

I want one! I don't care which one honestly. I'm currently sharing an account with one of my kids and I'd like them to be able to play and to be able to play with them instead of playing alone.

geeogree : Yeah you can definitely take one. Viz isn't a problem for you so you can pick whichever you want and wire me the Viz when you've decided

I was sort of thinking of getting whatever is left over near the end once other people have picked.

I don't really care which account I get and I'd rather take an expensive one than a cheap one so that other people who may not have as much Viz can get a cheaper one.

Just make sure to keep at least 1 reserved for me. I'll pay whatever it costs for whichever account is leftover.

The One Major Rule


Do not distribute anything we've made. This includes, but not limited to, the client or the server software for the game. This also includes modified versions of anything we've made. In order to ensure integrity of the game, we need all game downloads to come from a single central source: us. We hope you understand. It's also important for us that 3rd party tools/services don't seem "too official" as we can't guarantee their quality. If you wish to make something pertaining to anything we've made we're humbled, but please make sure that it can't be interpreted as being official.





By selling Minecraft accounts or account details, you are technically distributing the client or the server software for the game, because you are a third party (not Mojang) allowing someone to play Minecraft. The only way Mojang wants people to download Minecraft is buying it from them.





So, unless I'm missing something, this is illegal/against the TOU.


If nobody points out how this is allowed, then I will notify Mojang to see if this is OK or not.

Petraplexity : I'm not actually selling the accounts, I'm basically borrowing out the accounts in order to give users the opportunity to experience what Minecraft offers and to also see what the Vizezd.co Minecraft server is all about. In some cases, users ended up enjoying the game enough to get their own account after borrowing an account.

There's no need to contact Mojang over this.

Also, when you have access to a Minecraft account, you have access to the payment information that was used to buy the account. You might lose your credit card from doing this. (Not 100% sure about that part.)

Petraplexity : I didn't leave any payment information on the accounts. If this bothers you though, I can go ahead and close this offer. I honestly had no bad intentions with this and I don't want to get those accounts closed since I invested a lot of time and money into them.

Davideo7 : I, personally, don't care whether or not you keep this open. Mojang, however, will (probably) close the accounts if they know, though.

Petraplexity : Let's just hope they don't find out then. I did this last year and they didn't do anything about it so I'd imagine it'll be the same this year as well.

While the passing on of the account is probably against the rules the fact that the accounts aren't actually being sold or rented for real money would likely make this not nearly as big of a deal as it is being made out to be.

Also, I don't think David is distributing the client either. You can download that from minecraft.net after you get the account information.

If this became a legal fight I imagine David would lose but the situation itself likely wouldn't become a legal issue because of the lack of cash being used.

I'm dropping the prices of all of the remaining accounts by 25%.

Why not... I suppose I could take one since the prizes dropped and everything. And who knows, having an account could end up sparking my interest on Minecraft.
