Autumn is here, and with it comes another TdV!

Welcome to the Team Competition for the 2015 Autumn Tour de Vizzed.

I'll be the host in this edition, and I will make sure to keep the results up to date as quick as I can.

This time, we are trying an all new format. The teams will be divided depending on your zodiac sign. Basically, a new version of the "date of birth" format, but with better sounding names, as you will see below. You are given a determined sign depending on the day and month you were born. I will note which period each sign covers in the following section.

The teams

A total of 12 teams will be participating, one for each sign. These are the teams, and as promised, the period your birthdate must fit into.

-Team Aries: 21 March - 20 April
-Team Taurus: 21 April - 21 May
-Team Gemini: 22 May - 21 June
-Team Cancer: 22 June - 22 July
-Team Leo: 23 July - 22 August
-Team Virgo: 23 August - 23 September
-Team Libra: 24 September - 23 October
-Team Scorpio: 24 October - 22 November
-Team Sagittarius: 23 November - 21 December
-Team Capricorn: 22 December - 20 January
-Team Aquarius: 21 January - 19 February
-Team Pisces: 19 February - 20 March

Looks like I'm on team Aquarius. This is unfortunate because a particular someone would've been on my team had it not been for a few days difference.

Barathemos : You were just 4 days away from being on team Aquarius XD. You would've been a huge asset to the team since you are such a posting machine (Hey that rhymed, sort of...).

Regardless, I'm sure the rest of team Aquarius can pull together and win this thing. It is best to stay strong through the whole competition and then remain extra vigilant towards the end because that's when everyone goes nuts.

As I expected, I'm on team Scorpio. I wonder how many other people are on that team. I'm more focused on the individual game though. Still, GO TEAM SCORPIO!

Okay, so silly question. What exactly are we supposed to be doing? Forgive my ignorance, but I'm confused haha.

Skilledtree : You post, and do actions, and you get TDV points for that on the TDV PAGE.

Skilledtree : In this competition, we're trying to earn points each day by placing in the top 5 in the jerseys. The Yellow jersey is for most words in a day, blue is for most posts in a day, red is total cp in a day, and green is cp actions in a day. For users who aren't staff or higher, green is pretty much unobtainable unfortunately. Blue and yellow are the 2 easiest jerseys to earn points in for non staff. At the end of each day, the point totals will be added and once Davideo7 posts the results in the main TDV thread, EX Palen will be able to post the results each day here for the team competition.

Thank you for the informative reply. I just took a look at the Tour De Vizzed standings, and I've noticed that the top spots are all taken by staff. It looks like it's much easier for them to get points, so that'll be difficult to surpass them (I was shocked to see myself in second on two categories).

I know you said the top 5 gets "points," are these different from the jerseys? I kind of want a jersey, but at the same time I don't post much. I just like to do long descriptive posts. So the only ones I have a chance at are the words jersey and the CP jersey, which both basically seem impossible to overtake first place. For instance, I have submitted a review today (I do one every Thursday) and I am behind a staff member who submitted (?) today, so I'm confused how that works.

At the end of the day, I imagine I'll be in the top 5 for Words each day. Just wondering if in the event of a top 5 place per day, does that matter? Or do only the top dogs get recognition?

Skilledtree : If you finish in the top 5 every single day, then you would most likely finish in the top 3 overall for that jersey.

Team Scorpio places in the lead, thanks to being the only team to have more than one scorer. Libra and Capricorn tie for the 4th place, and only five teams out of twelve failed to score points.

Go Team Taurus! So far we have 0 points but it's only the 2nd day Usually I'm on a team that doesn't get a lot of points, hopefully I can help change that this time around. I love this team competition idea by the way

Cool, I'm glad to see that Scorpio is leading so far. Hopefully we can keep going strong this month and possibly win the competition.
