I was given a bunch of games for christmas one year. I am not sure which one I played first. It was either Crash Bandicoot 1,Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone,FIFA 2000, Gran Turismo or Wipeout. I remember playing all 3 games at Christmas but no clue which was the first. Gran Turismo and Wipeout is the reason why I love racing games. FIFA got me into sport games and Crash Bandicoot and Harry potter got me into puzzle/platform games. nice little mix there.

...my first game was Nicky Boom, in German, for an old German MS-DOS computer that hooked into my TV and used a joystick. Nothing was in English, not that it mattered, because I couldn't read yet.

My first actual console game was Secret of Mana for SNES. In English this time, and I was four by that point so I could read to figure out what I needed to do.

Nicky Boom still has one of the scariest boss fights in history to me, though, ugh.

Hmmm...what was the first game that i've ever played? Well, I clearly remember the Sega Genesis being the first system that I ever played. So, the first game that I ever played could be of the following: Primal Rage, Mortal Kombat 2, Cool Spot, Mickey Mania: The Timeless Adventures of Mickey Mouse, Castlevania: Bloodlines, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, and Maximum Carnage.

My first game was Super Mario Bros. 3, a port for the Game Boy Advance, and I don't remember my experience with it, as I was only 3, but I remember being better than my parents at it because they had not played it in quite a few years.

My first game? Hmmm there could be a few.

It was either the GameCube I had, love that system, where I had Sonic Gems and always played Sonic the Hedgehog 2, which I still consider to be my first game instead of the combo pack. Another possibility is Lego Star Wars the Complete Sage for GameCube, me and my bro being huge nurds at the time played it a bit too much.

If it wasn't a GameCube game, then it would definitely be Star Fox 64, the game I always played at my day care. Since I was like.... 4 at the time, my memory from that time is a bit crappy.

The first that I can remember was Ghouls 'N Ghosts. I don't think that I ever got past the first level as a kid. Years later, one of my cousins ended up getting Super Ghouls n Ghosts on GBA and for the next 3 summers we would pass it back and forth in the car on the ~20 hour ride to Florida. I think that after all of that we managed to make it to the final boss only a handful of times. Today, Ghouls 'N Ghosts for the Genesis is the first ROM I put on every device capable of using emulators. It's kind of the measuring stick which I use for all 2D games I play.

The first game I can remember playing was either the original Crash Bandicoot, or Abe's Odyssey. Both were incredibly fun and unique.
