Do you even lift brah? Imamonster is back with another thread. So, I love going to the gym. It's a lot of fun and breaking records after working really hard is the best part. For example First you could Bench press like... 200 pounds (Really not that much but it's a example) And then after working really hard you can lift 250 pounds. It's awesome experience.

I dislike running tough. Things like bench pressing are my favourite.

Well, I do go to do some martial arts and to do some tennis. My mom said that I'll start doing basket ball during this summer. I think the martial arts in the location that I do is a gym.

Reporter juuldude here! I'm asked for a personal experience and this is my opinion!:

No, I like to exercise but not in a gym. I'm pretty thin and I like to do sports but not working out in a gym. It's not boring or bad or something, but it's just not my style.

I never really work out in a gym, it is just not for me. I like to run, I like to bike, and I like to do martial arts (though I kind of quit Karate because I was far worse than everybody else, and I just could not keep up with their abilities when we sparred, so it made me feel weird). Weight-lifting is not really my thing, though I do some light weight-lifting so that I can have some sort of upper-body strength. I am rather thin right now though, and kind of scrawny, but not horrible scrawny.

I don't really work out either, I lift a lot of heavy stuff around like bags of cement and furniture and stuff like that around frequently, but as for working out in a gym every day, no. I like to run, ride my bike and swim though which are all activities I do throughout the summer as well. I am still somewhat fit, I have a body fat percentage of like 17% and a BMI of 7% or it might be the other way around since I confuse the two. I am kind of slim for my age though, I only weigh about 130 and it has been that way for quite a while. I would at least like to be 140 or so. I am planning to workout in the gym this summer though since I am considering doing lacrosse for the new school year next year. But as of right now I don't work out in a gym.

Yes. In fact I just came back from the Gym an hour ago.

And I don't do any bench pressing or weight lifting with dumbbells. I did a lot of that during Cross Country and I hated it. I mostly use the machines these days. Believe me, it's no easier.

I'm athletic and that's an important part of me. It's something I won't ever sacrifice.

Ha. Aha. No. I'm way too lazy to go to the gym. I'm also way too embarrassed to go, because I'm such a weakling compared to pretty much everyone just in my class. I'm fine with playing sports, but just lifting and running? Count me out.

I don't go to the gym, but i'm starting to consider the idea. I have some free time that i could use to put some work in the gym.

I don't believe that's my style though. I do enjoy running a lot, but running alone is not "enough". Let's leave it like that.

I was a gym addict back when I was still in upper secondary school. We had a really nice gym in our school with all the proper equipment despite it being a bit small. I haven't been going to the gym in three years I think, but I'm going again with a friend next Sunday. I'm pretty excited about it :-)

Even though I don't need to go to the gym I still want to go, well to get stronger but I don't have the time I would rather be here in my chair on my computer.

Do I go to the gym? Nope. I don't desire to grow stronger nor do I like the idea of working out around other people. Do I exercise?.. Somewhat. I Bike everyday to the ice rink and back. Currently it takes an hour to get there and back to my house. When I started to bike again this year (can't bike year round in Canada) I couldn't even ride the dog trial behind the local school for half an hour (and the school is within not even a minutes walk). Ya, I agree with you that's its exciting when you can push yourself further for longer without bad consequences (pulled muscle, torn ligament, etc.).

I used to go after school every day for baseball/football workouts but school is out so I can't really do that anymore. All the gyms nearby require memberships to be apart of, and I really don't think my mom is willing to pay money for that. I have my own personal workout sessions at home with some weights, pull-up bar, push ups, sit ups, etc...it's boring without the exciting gym atmosphere but I like being in shape so it's still worth it.

No, not really. I lift weights and that kind of thing, but not really an actual gym.

I go to the gym a few times a week. It's a small gym that's in my condo, so i don't have to worry about location. Quite convenient.

I work at a gym so I had better be in there getting work done.  My favorites are pull-ups and push-ups and dips.  Those are real man exercises.  If you can control your own body weight and pull yourself up, you are strong.  There's something about the pulling motion and the muscle groups used that really makes it impressive.

I also swim regularly, run a lot, and stay extremely active.  I'm 32 so I 'm on the long road downhill.  I have to continue to eat healthy and exercise so I can still look good for my insanely hot wife.  And I get a free membership since I'm there for work anyway.

I used to go to the gym, but after I couldn't fit it into the budget anymore, I haven't gone in a while. Not to worry though. I have my own gym now, and its called a Bowflex. The only other way I exercise without actually using the Bowflex, is running around the 1.5 mile block in my neighborhood. I can do pretty much anything else on that machine. I've had it for about 3 years, and its great! I don't plan on going back to the gym anytime soon. My ultimate goal, is to finally build a pool in my backyard. So that way I can make swimming part of my routine, too.
