Real-time Strategy (RTS) games. Micromanagement is one of my major weaknesses and it really shows with RTS games. I just can't play them for the life of me.

I would say sports games (though there are a few sports game I like).

But if I really had to pick one I would say rhythm games don't get me wrong I still like playing them sometimes but I just find other gaming genres more fun most of the time.

I would say sport games in general except for WWE games.
I'm not really interested in team sport related games like basketball, football, soccer, etc.

The genre that I like the least would have to be Puzzle games. Sure, there are a few games that stick out and I like, but overall, I just don't find the genre to be too appealing.

The games I am least interested in are probably point-and-click adventures. I just never got into them. Some of the games in the point-and-click genre go into surprising depth, but they still all look the same to me, pretty much.

Fighting games. I do own a couple, and there are a few that I even like, such as Soul Blade and the earlier Mortal Kombat games. But for the genre as a whole, I just can't get into them, mostly because I'm really bad at them. How people go about remembering all those combos and pulling them off with the perfect timing is beyond my understanding as a gamer.

Just as an example, one time I was with my brother (who was 12 at the time) playing a few rounds of Soul Calibur II for the PS2... I think we played about ten or twelve rounds and I only won two of them. Admittedly, I looked over and saw him basically mashing his fist against the right hand side of the controller the entire time, but why did I keep losing, even though I had a few of the basic combos figured out?! That right there is why I'm not into fighting games.

Personally i dont think i dont have a least favorite genre. I like all genres in general, but I guess my least favorite out of them all would be racing. I say that mostly because thats the least played game for me

Sports. I just don't understand why people buy a video game, entirely made for that specific type of sport. The rest of the genres I'm okay with, it's just that ONE genre.

RPG's (I am going to die soon but hear me out) This is mainly due to me growing up having people mainly play FPS games but I have played pokemon and Mario rpg's and that is it. I can never get into it but they ususally do have the best story out with point and click adventure games. I will probably change my mind since I am now wanting to try out more RPG games but for now it is RPG's.

I strongly dislike FPSes I don't know why. Probably because the people who buy them don't see their all the same. Crappy games stupid mechanics and a bad story. This is just my opinion.

Horror. I despise horror. The world is scary enough without needing to be scared on purpose. Apart from that, I don't really have too much of an objection for the rest of the genres although there are some games in each genre I don't like.

imamonster : If you haven't, you may want to try the Metroid Prime games. They are technically in the FPS genre but they are different enough to be set apart & they also have a decent story.

Well there's the sport genre. Simulating physical sports? C'mon that's even worse then the actual game. I'd rather play actual tennis then play it on my Wii. Sure, my arm may get tired but its because I'm actual doing something 'active,' moving around a court and not gesturing with my hands. The FPS genre Is also something I'm not particularly fond of, their all just so generic now, but I would be lying if I said I didn't enjoy playing them every so often.

Puzzle games. When I play a video game, I prefer it to be an experience. I have yet to find a truly immersive puzzle game. Not counting side scrolling physics games such as NightSky for 3DS, which is a fantastic game.
