For me I believe the last time I brought a pack was over four years ago and it was a small deck of Pokémon cards. Due to how popular they are getting due to the whole Ex thing, I'm thinking about jumping back into it again. It doesn't help that I'm watching The King Nappy unwrap all of his new Pokémon set packs.  I just want to feel that excitement again I had as a kid opening up new packs.

xxxbluewolf : Opening a pack of Pokemon cards is definitely one thing that makes me feel like a kid again and I always love those types of experiences.

xxxbluewolf :
Davideo7 : I have like the same feeling to, I started collecting Pokemon cards once again when I returned to Pokemon after my 10-year hiatus from the Pokemon series. Yet, I still have Pokemon cards I collected in 2004 and earlier, but I ain't really sure on where I put them though.
But yeah, buying and collecting Pokemon once again is always a good thing.

Other than Pokemon cards, I do have a couple sport cards, but not a whole lot though and they all are at my grandparents's house.

IgorBird122 : It's funny that a lot of Pokemon fans tend to take long breaks from the series but eventually come back. I took a break after Pokemon Gold, then came back for Pokemon Diamond and then took a break after that again and now I've returned back to the series thanks to Pokemon X. I think now that society is more accepting of adult Pokemon fans, I'll probably stick with it this time lol.

But yeah, opening a pack of Pokemon cards is great for the reasons I mentioned but it's also a an exciting experience when you play the card game and might come across some cards that you'll be adding to one of your decks. That's super exciting.

Man, I think it was a box of football cards about 6 or 7 years ago? It was right about the time I was starting to stop caring about expanding my football card collection. I still keep them in good condition. I just need to find somebody to buy them for a reasonable and not a low ball price.

The last time would be around 5 years ago. Nowadays, I get my Pokémon cards by trading one old, unfindable (?) card for 2 or 3. This way, my collection grows...

I don't know how long its been, but the last time I bought pokemon trading cards was probably about 5 or 6 years or go give or take. It really used to be hyped up a lot when I was in elementary, but after it dies down, I stopped collecting them as much. I have a pretty solid collection of cards and I am actually debating whether or not I want to start collecting pokemon TCG cards now or not because I've seen some and they look really nice. Anyways though, I don't know yet...it's been so long since I started collecting, but I bet I can get in the habit of doing it again.
