Hey everyone I wanted to know who's a better cook you spouse or you mother? noramally we like our mom's cooking because we've been eating it for most of our life and our spouse's because it tastes good too. but who's better people would rather not say because if they told there spouse there mom cooks better than they'll make them sleep on the couch and if they told there mother there spouse cooks better then your mother will despise your spouce. but what do you think is the better cook for you? me its my mom since i'm don't have a spouse.

None of my exes ever displayed proficiency in cooking. Only one liked to mention making a mean Ramen Noodle Soup, haha.

Even if any of them could cook, Mom would likely beat them. My mother always cooks rather well, and even likes creating new dishes. She made Barbecue Fried Rice that is like candy to me! I only get it once and awhile, but still is just amazing! I need to learn how she does it so I can start making it myself.

Also, I am not too bad a cook, but I do not do it often enough to excel at it.

To be honest,  I cook better than my mother. She doesn't add enough flavor to the food she makes and the stuff she makes are pretty simple. Potatoes, carrots, corn, meatloaf, tacos, corn flaked chicken.... yuck.

My mom was never a very good cook. She cooked some things well and baked some things well too, but overall I wouldn't really call her that great of a cook. My dad cooked more than my mother did.

My ex-wife was a horrible cook and could barely cook something that came out of a box/freezer bag.

Over the years I have become a great cook and I'm always taking cooking classes or trying new recipes online. My girlfriend is a great cook too.

This is really a tough one.  As much as I love my mother, I'd have to say my husband cooks better.  While my mother's food tasted better, she didn't really COOK. My husband, on the other hand, does.

My mom, I guess. Lazlo doesn't cook. He probably could, and I've taught him some stuff here and there, but he just doesn't. And I don't really expect him to so it works out. I do all the cooking.

My mom isn't the greatest cook, mostly because my stepdad and my brother are super ultra picky so it's a lot of super repetitive and bland food. So while I don't blame her completely and she does make some delicious stuff, it's not the greatest. But since Lazlo doesn't cook at all, she wins by default.

I love my mom but she always thought spices are useless. If the food fills you up and keeps you from fainting during the day of work its ok. Try to find a book called "finnish cuisine". There is none. If somebody is willing to write one I have the introduction already written out: "You eat what you get or you dont eat at all and if you dont work, you get a spoon and an empty plate."
