Mfre.......that doesn't make you an oddball....it's your hometown team.  I wish where I am (and it's a MAJOR city) we had an MLS team.  You'll probably hate me but as my post wayyyy back in this thread.....I'm a Seattle Sounders fan haha.  But my soccer (futbol....I find myself saying this way more than soccer these days) soul is with my Gunners..(ARSENAL FC) it's been 13 years now since I was in HS.  In those days the exposure to European futbol was way less on TV except for like the Champions League final.

The final of Champions league is Borussia Dortmund - Bayern München which means German football is just awesome like Spanish. It's a pity that Real Madrid and Barcelona lost their matches. they play in the Eredevisie (league in The Netherlands) not one of the best clubs around but the crowd is always amazing

It's a shame that we didn't win the world cup against Spain in 2010.
