It's not official yet, but Sony might make it so that when you purchase a game, your puchasing the license so that it can ONLY be played on your PS3 system. You wouldn't ever be able to sell your games, buy them used, or rent them.

It's a rumor right now, but you never know with Sony, their pretty weird when it comes to that sort of stuff, they'll go to the extreme to make sure their games don't get copied. In the new article I read from my cell phone they said that the game developers would actually make more money from this because they lose money when customers decide to rent games or buy games used instead of buying them new.

I'm not so sure it would of been that great for them. People in Japan are questioning the price as well people here in the US. This would of been a huge blow. Imagine not getting to take your game to another persons house to play it there. And the system will probably weigh 50 lbs (j/k). It wouldn't exactly be easy to pack a PS3 around.
