Totts : Well, mentally I am sound but the one difference that sticks out like a sore thumb compared to when I was young is that I am considerably more neurotic and worry endlessly… I don’t think it’s necessarily a bad thing because I have a considerably better grasp of what needs to get done and when it needs to be done than someone who would much rather let it sit for a while.

For example, the first thing I do when I get paid is immediately pay my bills long before their due before I even think about doing anything else. I also obsess about my budget as I operate on a fixed income for the most part with the few exceptions of pay from my writing royalties but as a freelancer those are few and far between and is one reason why I have been seriously considering joining a union or two so I can be paid adequately.
