If possible, I would like anyone to pray for my best friend, Andrew Inman, who's mother died last week from cancer. This is the only time I have ever seen him cry.  Please, give him your prayers to help his family recover from this.

Please pray for my grandmother and dad. We were eating dinner when she had a mini seizure, and the paramedics just took her to the hospital. I'm sorta worried, and I feel really bad for my dad and grampa...I'd really appreciate your prayers.

For those of you that may not know, I have a twin whom I love very much.  She won't talk to anyone in our family, however, because she is bitter about our strict upbringing and has convinced herself of many things which simply are not true.  It's been years since we heard from her, and most of what I learn about her is through being a bit of a stalker, and never from her, herself.  I send her texts to let her know I love her, but I never receive any responses.

Well, today I got one. She's in labor, but the labor is being induced due to complications. She's had a rocky history with ectopic pregnancies and miscarriages, so the fact that she carried a baby to full term is a miracle. I wanted so badly to be there, and the idea has consistently been on my mind for about a week now. I couldn't stop stressing and wondering when the baby would be born, and I'm so excited to be an aunt. I've a bit devastated, at the same time though, because as of now my twin is determined we will never be a part of her or her baby's life.  Seeing as the likelihood of me having my own child is minimal, this has been a big event for me.

I'd like quick, urgent prayer for her health and her baby's health.  And then... for her heart to soften and heal, and for her to (at some point), allow me to be involved in her child's life. If I could drive down there right now, I'd ditch work without blinking.  I knew she wouldn't want me there, but knowing she is in labor while I'm sitting here at work.... is quite hard on me.

Please, there is power through prayer....

As some of you may know, I and a few others on Vizzed are starting our own business in game developing. I'm currently learning the programming languages that I'll need to put out our first game, but I have to learn from the very beginning as I have no experience with it prior to this.

I'm posting here asking everyone to pray for our endeavors to produce good clean fun for gamers, and also to pray for me as I endeavor to meet the study deadline of Mid-March/Early-April. I'll have to pass two to three lessons a day, which will be tricky as I have only two or three hours a day that I can devote to it, and that's really pushing the time limit. One of these lessons typically takes me somewhere between sixty and ninety minutes to complete successfully, so I'll really be crunching for a month or two. This may seem like a silly request to some, but the future careers of a few people are riding on this, so it's a pretty big deal to me. If you will, pray that I not only pass the lessons, but that I fully comprehend the material, and get it down perfectly, before the deadline.

I don't know much since my twin is in labour and hasn't talked to us much. However, my mom called my twin and left a message, and my twin called her back!!!  I know (from stalking, shame on me) that my twin had been wanting a natural birth, but the pain became too much and she finally asked for an epidural.  The baby was having difficulty breathing, so I think they are now trying to convince her to have a c-section?

I'm not sure, and it's the last thing I heard.  She had been in labor since the day before.

I don't know if she's had the baby yet, or if she's still labouring. Regardless, it can't hurt to pray for the health of them both.

Hello. Its been a long time since I was last on so I'd like to firstly appologise for that.
Secondly. I do have a prayer request and I'm posting it here rather than my local circles because I'm afraid of the response I may get from my 'friends'.
I've recently had a bout of anxiety/depression. I've had constant attacks for weeks. And its very exhausting.
I have finally after years of faking contentedness agreed to get tested for this officially.
However I am scared of the that the results will confirm this.
If I am then I am happy to have the knowledge that I finally needed to be clear of.
However I then have to accept that I am and find a way to combat this before it halts my college, my job or my relationship.
God bless my poor partner who spends many a sleepless night consoling me.
Please spare me a prayer and him too. His strength has been my rock and I'm glad the Lord put him in my life.

A friend of mine needs prayer for his family. His grandpa fell down the steps & was found unconscious. Not much else is known right now.



UPDATE: My friend's grandpa is in stable condition but he's still in the hospital. They aren't sure how long he'll be in the hospital though. The hospital is being cautious since he's 85. continued prayers are appreciated.

There was something that I learned a few days ago that has just crushed me. I'm sorry for bumping this thread, but if need prayers.

My uncle has gotten cancer. What the rest of my family said was that he has had it for at least a year, but he didn't know, his doctor didn't know,no one knew that he had it, until about a week ago when he went to the doctor because he felt sick. He is now in a hospital in serious condition because of his untreated cancer. There are a few treatments that he has in line for him, but it really don't know what's going to happen.

I would really appreciate if you prayed for him. I've been preying for him every night. Just to let anyone who needs to know, his first name is Rick.

Please keep him in your prayers.

Facepuncher :  I'm not sure that you still come around, but I'd like you to know that you can always find a place of refuge here on vizzed.  Instead of asking for God's judgement to be passed over your enemies, try praying for their hearts to be changed and touched by God.  See if that gets you anywhere?

This is a thread that you should NEVER apologize for bumping.  Prayer is crucial to your spiritual health, and it's just as important to pray for others, as it is to pray for yourself.

I'm sorry to hear about your uncle. What kind of cancer does he have, if you know?

Singelli : my family said that he has leukemia but Idk where. I kind of only figured out a few days ago, and it's hard for me to take all in, so I may have forgotten some.
They said it wasn't anywhere serious, but it hadn't been treated it was a serious problem.

Barathemos : I think cancer is serious no matter what, but I'm glad his condition isn't critical right now. I'm also glad they caught it before it did become bad.  Those are all blessings!  I'll keep him in my prayers.

I had someone close recently that went to be with the Lord due to cancer, so I kinda understand what you're going through.  I will pray for peace and strength for you and your family and for healing for your uncle.  It's all up to God.  He is the ultimate healer, whether it's physical or spiritual.  Please keep us updated.  Blessings!

I've not been on much Uni has been really busy. Good and bad things all over.
I got married in July, My husband got baptised a week back.
I was diagnosed with generalised anxiety disorder in May. Been a long slog since then.
I wish I had more time to come online and talk to people. But I need to get a lot of work done in very little time.

With no further ado, please pray for me. I think the meds my psychiatrist have me on work pretty well, but he has me on too high a dose at the moment, all because he overcompensated for the meds that made me suicidal. This induces a hypomanic state and can make it harder to make good decisions.

Many, many of my friends have it really rough right now. I try to be there for all of them, but I can only do so much. And, of course, still living at home with my parents, not having a job and not managing to fix my sleep schedule is all very draining. Please pray for healing for me and my family, and for God to help my friends.

I am honestly falling apart at the seams. These days I have an emotional breakdown once every few days. And I'm concerned that something I've done might lead to one of my best friends no longer associating with me. It would be cool for that to not happen.

CatLady : You're welcome, Cat. We will be praying for you. One thing that I would advise you would be to not lose your support group during all of this. You shouldn't go through this alone. I will pray to God for your healing and the wisdom to move on.

I am just dropping in to say hello.
Things have been ok. Wedding in July went beautifully.
Still waiting for treatment for anxiety.
Been unwell over the winter but nothing new there.
On the positives I have a happy marriage life.
On the negatives I have some financial issues, I'm trying to sell prints and drawings but not many people are interested. I do have a redbubble but prefer to sell myself.
I also have a 5000 word project for my degree that is 4 months behind and I'm struggling with motivation issues, probably due to the anxiety.
I am also worried about finishing my degree this year, I have no job prospects. And we are already struggling to pay bills we are behind on council tax.
I could stay on for honours but I will have the same problems the year after with motivation.
Anyway that is enough sadness from me today I have a ridiculous amount to read today.
