Hytale is a game I've followed the development of closely since about mid 2019 when I finally watched the trailer instead of thinking it was just going to be some rip off Minecraft and what I saw was a game that looked like the breath of fresh air I needed from Minecraft which admittedly had gotten stale over the years. Fast forward to now and it's been announced the game will not be ready till 2023 at the earliest but the update that talked about that also reminds me why I'm looking forward to this game so much in the first place. The update gave me info on things I've been really curious of and thought Minecraft handled wrong that being PVP and the community. See with Minecraft PVP has not been good since 1.8 and the community has been split forever by the 2 versions being bedrock and java and I understand it wouldn't of been simple to do anything about but I've always felt the community being split in 2 didn't feel right. So how will Hytale handle this? They are taking more time to develop the game to make sure they don't have to split the community like Minecraft and when it comes to PVP the weapons will all have different play styles and from what I shown I really think I'll like the different styles if everything is balanced right. I don't think this game will ever be able to live up to the hype it's generated up to this point but I just hope I'll find a game that I can love with my friends.
