I honestly think there should always be at least one day with this title every TdV. Sadly I'm the only active guiderteer still around, so it will all befall upon me, and I may even make a second day like this later on in the month.

I see many people discussed about it in previous posts. I haven't been following the conversation, but for those questioning why I posted it yesterday it's simple: I just finished it. I've been working on it for a while and I wanted to do away with it. Besides, I feel motivated to write more, and now I can focus on other works.

I already got an awful ton of CP without being double day. Like, what'd be the point of earning like x10 that of second place. I know it'd have helped me in my race against David, but that wouldn't be playing fairly. I already devote my time towards high rewarding actions, no need to get any extra benefit or wait after their completion.

I must say the "fire" combination does look good on the standard admin color. If I could only try other combinations that'd be nice, but I have no pace or energy to keep up with the other two jerseys. Who knows, maybe one day can happen.

EX Palen : I won't lie I actually have pre-wrote my review for the next Summer gaming MAME-ories (this sunday) since this next one is a game I haven't played frequently enough, I wanted to review this after doing a complete playing

EX Palen : I had thought that could be the reason but I thought it would be better to wait and hear if that was the reason yourself then giving a possible reason and being dead wrong I got to say it's very commendable of you to be able to not wait an extra day to get even more CP in your race normally I would wanna play fairly but if I knew waiting one more day would grand me double the CP I'm not sure I would of been able to resist the temptation.

SonicOlmstead : Years ago, in a TdV, I was awake and active during the last hour of the day (that's between 6 and 7 AM my time, so it was a rarity). I had a guide ready to be posted, which would net me Red anytime I wanted, but I wanted to vanquish Yellow as well and competition for that one was fierce at the time.

During that last hour, I saw a chance to grab Yellow and so posted my guide. It was the last time somebody would do anything like that, as the rule of 50% words on the final hour was implemented for the next competition. That incident always left a bad taste in my mouth, and so I try not to get an enormous advantage if I know I can win fairly by a wide margin.

Even though anybody at any time can get the double CPs, I still think there's a limit to how I should use that to my advantage. I personally don't like to abuse it if I'm already earning quadruple digits on my own, like yesterday. It's a way of balancing out my shortest weapons compared to my big ones, and I must admit yesterday was a surprisingly big one I wasn't expecting.

classgame : Well, I also did the bulk of the guide in the months prior, bit by bit. There's no way I could have written +10k words in six days, that's insane. And saving reviews for a later time is a common resource some other people have done before.

I like the fact you still play games completely, many people "abused" reviews because you didn't really need to beat the game or anything. That also makes you a fair competitor.

I almost clinched Yellow yesterday. Glad I didn't, I think it would look horrible on my name and I wouldn't be enticed to login for the entire day xD

I feel like going all out in an attempt to sweep Red and Green for one day, like I did in the good old days. Not sure if I'll be able to clinch Green, but I can try. Maybe this weekend I can test it, we'll see how my free time goes.

By the looks of it, I might be able to win Gray by next summer, when Sonic and classgame are both out of contention. I hope I have the same energy and ideally free time by then, or most probably a newly qualified user will appear to steal the spotlight xD

I could have easily grabbed blue yesterday if I had posted a few words that could have gotten my some micropoints but I didn't even though I was up close to midnight. Besides I think it's against the rules, but then again it said 50% or more of my daily words are posted in the final hour, mine could have been less than 25% but I didn't...I guess I could have. Oh well.

It seems we've reached the end of the 1st week of TdV only another 3 to go and I definitely do feel some exhaustion now where I really made that push to win yellow yesterday as well as blue, and red green is the only jersey I can safely win most days even though I could put a lot more effort into it if I really wanted to but it's not really been needed thus far.

EX Palen : I did feel kind of bad pushing so far for yellow that late but knowing you thought it would of looked horrible makes me feel a bit better. I look forward to whatever day you decide to do that as it'll give me a perfect reason to not go as hard that day. I felt really bad day 1 when you talked about going for Grey knowing I likely was going to win it this time the unfortunate thing with Grey is I'll never see my username with the color as long as I keep up my posting like I should but oh well. Hopefully geeo or someone doesn't pop up to win grey next summer then if you have the energy I'm not real sure who would be newly eligible to win it then I'm not sure what users signed up after me that had a major impact on the site that are still active something worth looking into sometime.

classgame : You know it's funny you mention that with blue and yellow cause I was honestly a bit scared to take some of my focus away from TdV to record a Youtube video but in the end I knew if I wanted to record I needed to do it during the last hour cause otherwise I wouldn't have the energy left afterwards so I went ahead and did it and it worked out for me.

Damn. If I had realised that I was so close to getting the green jersey for yesterday, I might have pushed that little bit more. Oh well, I can always try again today.

DavidMcC1989 : You know I wanted to have a safer lead in green and was doing song ratings just to find out after I did them for a bit that it didn't work which was kind of frustrating.

It seems like my normal strategy at this point is to put tdv off for most of the day and then the final couple hours when I kind of have to is when I can get myself moving to actually post and do whatever I need to.

You know I really wish that commenting on a game page would count as an action (mostly because I'm leaving stuff there as a reminder if it won't work on RetroArch) But then again I'm still waiting for the day when video submissions can be counted as actions again

Finally, got one, and it only took about 9 days, I look pretty in my blue jersey

Oh hey I still managed to break 200 points last night despite me going to bed early I can't complain with that. In more scary news we're now entering what I consider at least for myself the hardest period of Tour de Vizzed. I consider the 10th-20th the hardest part cause like the first 10 days your pretty hyped up it's the start pretty easy to stay motivated and the last 10 days you can see the finish line so it's easy to think just gotta hold on another 10 days but where we are now right in the middle there's nothing like that for me so we'll see how I survive this time.

classgame : Yeah I ended up going to bed with over an hour left in tdv I just didn't have the energy or motivation to push for everything last night so I conceded defeat for a night and went to sleep. I look forward to competing with you more though I try a lot harder for green since it is the jersey I decided to specialize in when I first started doing tdv my goal for tdv in general is to win the most green jerseys ever which is a slow grind but I'll get there someday.

Wow, yesterday's jerseys were truly split for the first time this TdV, we almost forgot how colorful the site can be with at least three users sporting jerseys.

I am now certain I want to take the challenge of earning a few more jerseys. It won't be today and not sure if it will be tomorrow, but I totally want to do it. Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition, though being Spanish I'm not proud of that meme xD
