EX Palen : I actually would rather walk away from this TdV with the overall Yellow or Blue Jersey rather than walk away with the Gray Banner since part of its intent is to get veterans posting more. Of course I wouldn't be upset if I did end up winning it though.

Ayyyy I got the blue jersey, which I haven't had since like 2 years ago :'3. And 3 points behind EX Palen, rainbow is so near I can taste it~

And leading the blue jersey too, I see. Let's see if I walk away with the overall and rainbow or if someone steals it from me, which is very welcome xp.

It's so cool seeing activity up again. Yesterday was the first day that the site hsd 100 posts since last July, we didn't even have a single 100 post day in the entire October TDV.

Davideo7 : Since it's every 6 months now, should the time the winners wear the banners/jerseys for extend? Maybe 2 months instead of 1?

Well, I got a crap-ton of guest referrals from posting about Vizzed on Reddit, so I hope I can win a few jerseys throughout the month if not today!

Yesterday the numbers went quite high. Been a long while since we saw this much activity, so 2018 starts very promising.

I managed my goal of getting the Red jersey. With that, I'm 9th overall for most Red jerseys, and I confirmed that Rainbow looks better outside of Yellow. Looks like my goal of getting overall Red could be perfectly possible, so I can switch my focus to it without having to worry about Rainbow.

I've been off all day because of real life, so I'm quite behind the rest of participants to get any points today. I won't be getting a jersey but I could get some juicy points that, while probably not enough to keep Rainbow for one more day, will help me in my goal of securing a top 10 as soon as possible to free up my schedule for the second half of the month.

zanderlex : I'd like to see the banners stay for the entire 6 months. That would be extra incentitve for activity, plus bragging rights. Maybe the user could have the option of keeping the banners or jerseys that they won for overall or something like that.

EX Palen : Yeah, real life got me yesterday. I'm still debating if I really want to compete or not, but for now, I will. Especially since college starts back next Wednesday for me, and I'm finally going to try sticking with 15 crediit hours, rather than just the minimum of 12. 

I'd say maybe 2-3 months of having the jersey/banner since before you kept it for half of the non-competing months. 2 and a half maybe? X'D

EX Palen : Awww, I was honestly looking forward to duking it out with you today . But real life is more important, and actually I go back to school on the 8th so hopefully I don't get overwhelmed with school work so that I have enough time to win :'D

Sanspai : Yeah, I agree with you. Normally I would say 3 months to keep it, but I think having it for all 5 months would be a huge incentive. 
4 months would still work too. It'd give you that one month with nobody having anything, just like it used to be. 

Sanspai : Yeah, it would be fun to have a close battle for Rainbow, but even if it's not as close as we'd like it to be, the battle will be there. I plan on keeping my average scores rather high because I see a good chance of getting high in the chart for most total points, so I recommend you do the same all month long *eyetwitch*

thing1 : Well, you have already won a few things in the TdV so it must be harder for you to be motivated. Still, I'm sure we all want as many participants as we can have, even if it's just to mess up with those fighting for the jerseys and banners to add more fun to the mix.

About keeping the jerseys and banners for more than one month, I think that we should also increase it to 2-3 months. We must give the prizes from the TdV as much visibility as we can to incentive those users who couldn't participate the last time it was held. Not sure what the exact amount should be, but 3 months is already a lot of having a unique username color.

David should totally open up another discussion for that like he did with the biannual TdV xD

Me and Fancdew were fighting all day for points yesterday. Today seems to be a pretty quiet day, but I don't expect that to last. 

Well, harvested a couple of points yesterday to keep my lead in Red, nothing else I could do after spending most of the day away. Looks like things have calmed down today for a bit, so maybe I can make up for the lost points and keep a rather high average.

It's actually quite pleasant to see that no real dominator has emerged in any jersey. Maybe only Green, but that's the hardest jersey to participate in and thus only the true experts on that field, like its current leader, can take a good advantage of it. The competition will be pretty open during the first week it seems, so let's hope we can keep it like that for a while.

We'll have to see if I manage to surpass 800 total points in the TdV, if I end up doing well enough this month I could land in July with the chance of surpassing 1000. That's a nice long time milestone to keep me motivated to participate, with the new gap between competitions you never know when will real life pull you away.
