Timon & Pumbaa's Jungle Games Review by: FaithFighter - 7.6/10
Nothing like a jungle of fun!Ah...the jungle games! I've spent many a day perfecting my aim on sling shooter, bettering my burping on Burper (as whacky as that may sound it actually is a fun game, rattling those balls around in jungle pinball, and hopping to the other side on hippo hop. Those were some fun and quite addicting games. So without further ado, let me lead you into the jungle to begin our tour...
Overall: 7.5
This is an old favorite of mine, and I really cannot say anything amiss against it. There is no story, so I won't be going over that department. But everything else I though was awesome for its day.

Be it the funny animations when you hit something on Slingshooter or the flashing lights of the Jungle pinball. I am still fascinated with the graphics of this game. The animations are humorous and smooth. The backgrounds are great; and they made a great choice on the color palettes. The bright, vibrant colors really bring out the life in this game.
Sound: 9
Once again, from sounds on the slingshooter, to the very realistic burping sound on burper, the sound guys did a great job. The music is also good. It feels lively, yet has the feeling that it belongs in the jungle. sounds were well timed and executed. On hippo hop, you could hear every sound perfectly clear. I also feel that the sounds were all done at the proper volume so as to make it feel more real. Which, once again, for its time, I though was awesome. I remember another game--nba jam--where the sound of the ball being dribbled always seemed a hair late. But not here!
Addictivness: 9
There may be only four games, but don't let that fool you! These games are barrel loads of fun. I've played slingshooter for hours at a time, just trying to hit that next level. (I think that I may have hit level 24 at one point.) With the never, ending possibility of a higher score, and some determination, you never know what might happen.
Depth: 5
To be honest, the game does not offer that much in the way of game quantity. But it does offer game quality, which is something that i am finding to be harder and harder to come across. Each game i believe is essentially endless, so that makes up for it in my mind, but I can't help but feel that someone would say that I am just favoring the game, so I gave it a 5.
Difficulty: 8
The game is not a tough one to play, and is very easy to pick up on. The extra challenge comes from trying to advance farther and farther in the levels. Every game except for jungle pinball is timed, so that makes each game just a bit harder. As you go along, things begin to move faster in the level. on slingshooter, it begins to get to the point where it is nearly impossible to hit your target because it disappears before you could get to it.
While I probably should have done this first, I'll give you a rundown of each of the games so you know what you are playing.
1. My personal favorite...Sling Shooter. This is a game where you have to fling grapes at so many targets before the time runs out. About once or twice during the level, a fruit will appear at the bottom of the screen. If you shoot it, you get some extra berries to throw. So try not to run out of berries or time!
2. Burper...Yes I know the ultra-whacky game where you buper at things that are falling down at you. Once again you have limited time and ammo...so be careful.
3. Jungle pinball...well the title is self-explanatory. It is a jungle version of pinball, with some very special bonuses and additions.
4. Hippo Hop... this game is a little like frogger. You play as timon and your goal is to hop across on the backs of hippos, gators, and even turtles to get to the other side. But then, you have to go back and ring the bell! Then do it again! I'm not sure why we're doing this, perhaps because timon isn't skinny enough and needed the workout? LOL!
Anyways, I hope that you all enjoyed your tour of the jungle! Now go on and enjoy the game for yourselves!
