Shuttle WarShuttle War is a head-to-head multi-player game. Both players are spaceships, or "shuttles" and must shoot at each other in an attempt to destroy your opponent. If you need to kill 10 minutes and have a buddy around go ahead and fool around with this, I wouldn't put much more time into it than that.
Graphics
I haven't played the Commodore 64 before, so I am no expert on their graphics, however there is very little detail put into the game. It is nothing but two shuttles and a line through the middle. Compared to other games on the Commodore 64, this is quite a simple design.
Sound
Honestly, the start up screen has a nice tune going for it. I kind of like it. Unfortunately, that's all it has in the sound department. After the title screen a low, constant buzzing noise can be heard, almost annoying. Then once one of the shuttles fire at each other, the buzzing stops and is replacing by the sound of a laser shooting. No music is played, or background effects other than the firing of lasers.
Addictiveness
The game isn't overly addictive, like was mentioned earlier, a good ten minute killer with a buddy, but nothing more.
Depth
The game offers no depth, no extra game styles, no AI. One play mode, Player vs. Player.
Overall
I would pass this game right by.
