If so, who are your favorite characters? Mine are Tala and Denny but I also like Bryan and Kai quite a lot.

Asking because I plan on taking the CompTIA A+ exams later this year and I am just wondering if anyone here knows anything about them and or anything about working in IT in general. I am coming without an IT background.

I just recently finished a class for the A+ from a local community college and am now using TestOut and Mike Meyers' book to study.

Any insight would be appreciated!

I still do. I am not open to adding people, at the moment, however, because my friends list is full. I'm at 400.

Thank you. I asked a seocnd time because as mentioned earlier, she didn’t give me a direct answer the first time & I wasn’t too clear about what her intentions were.

Its a rough ride getting over her, but I’m holding on tight!

I didn’t go. No regrets, but as others have said, it all depends on you.

Yes but the person seems to have finally left me alone. It was a 40 something year old woman posing as some guy in his 20’s. Found out through a Google search. Be careful.

Thanks. And yeah, I agree with the fact that they aren't obligated they aren't obligated to reply, so I didn't expect a 10/10. And I did them in groups, some a while back (that was when the 3 responses were), and two more recently, one three days ago and another two days ago. Here's a sample, minus the contact information:

Dear Gina,

Thank you for taking the time to open this letter. I hope this letter finds you well. This is your classmate, Eliza (Vizzed.com - insert last name here), from PS 78. I am writing because I want to catch up with you. I just graduated from Hunter College in August with a B.A. in Women and Gender Studies and a minor in Political Science. These days, I have been looking for a full-time, entry-level position in Human Resources, ideally in Manhattan. I have gotten lots of interviews, but no offers!
I also have been playing Pokémon Go. I am on Team Mystic, on level 40, finally! I never thought I would get this far in the game, but I have, and feel very proud of myself! I just caught a Ho-Oh and have it as my buddy! What about you? What have you been up to? How are you doing? I hope all is well! My contact information is as follows:
Phone (both texts and calls are welcome):
Email:
Instagram:
Facebook:

*Vizzed.com - I left all of my contact details above, but omitted it and my last name from my post here for my privacy

Hope to Hear from You Soon,

Eliza (Vizzed.com - insert last name here)

So I went through my old elementary school photos and belongings here at home recently and thought of some old classmates who I am not on social media with these days. I tried to find them on social media but felt overwhelmed because they have common names and so many people came up on Facebook with the same names.

I did some Google, Whitepages, and Pipl searches for them, got addresses (I would gladly tell these people that's how I got their addresses if they asked!), and sent some letters in the mail to these people to ask about how they are doing, tell them about what I have been up to these days, and to tell them that I wish to catch up.

I always pay extra for tracking so I can make sure these letters get delivered and leave my contact information on them too so people know where they can reach me at, but I've only gotten like 3 responses out of the about 10 people I've lost touch with. What gives? How can I increase my chances of getting more responses?

I'd love to hear from an old classmate, if I was on the receiving side of this!

I found some phone numbers too, saved them, but didn't call because I do not like calling & I have some phone anxiety, especially in situations like this, but if you think calling is the better way to go, ok, fine, I will call.

Thanks, but the thing is, I didn't really want to come off too strong at first because I didn't know if she identified as LGBT like I do. That's why I was asking to get coffee or lunch with her - so I could have gotten to know her more first and tried to figure out if she was LGBT or straight before flirting with her so I wouldn't embarrass myself if she was straight, but oh well, what happened, happened.

I had a crush on someone who I am trying to get over now. I had to text her because it wasn’t possible to see her in person. First time I asked her if she wanted to get coffee or lunch and catch up sometime and she said she was busy with midterms, which ok, I got. She didn’t directly say no but that it would be hard for her because of midterms.

Then I asked her the same thing three weeks later (a couple of days ago now), thinking midterms are over & finals are in December (I’m not in school anymore, bur she’s a PHD) and no response even though she read my text.

I know about getting over her now and not thinking too much about this, but I was just wondering if it was honestly a mistake to have asked her twice since she didn’t reply the second time. I won’t text her again unless she texts me. Just asking if there is a lesson to be learned from this for the next gal.

I actually want to know if taking retaking statistics at a local community college (I dropped it here at my 4 year undergrad), somewhere down the line, before I apply for graduate school, is an option for me, if I want an MSW. Would graduate programs honestly care about when and where I retake statistics?

Even though I am a senior in undergrad now, at a four year school, I do not want to go to graduate school right away. I am trying to find a job.
I just dropped statistics because I had a bad professor (long list of reasons there), tutoring wasn't of much help to me, and I just feel as if I wasn't grasping the concepts too well.

I KNOW that most programs will make me retake it once I get to graduate school (I have NO problem with that), but I am also just wondering if taking it again at a community college is also an option for me, for those programs that require statistics before I even apply to them. I've had a few friends who have taken it at community colleges for undergrad and said it wasn't bad at all.

This semester in French 201, my professor realized that I was struggling on my first exam because I barely passed it. She suggested tutoring and I began to go & it has been helping me.

She also offered to translate just the directions on the exam to English for me and only me, which has been working too.

Question is, how can I TRY to ensure this direction translation accommodation can follow me into next level French, next semester (French 202), since my professor will not be teaching 202?

I want to sound professional & polite, not pushy, about this for whoever is my next professor.

I understand that this next professor is NOT obligated to do this for me & that there is NO guarantee it will happen. I was honestly shocked when my current professor offered to do this for me!

Also, if it helps, I do take exams in my schools Office of Accessability, with other Accomodations too.
