My first was the original Metroid on NES which my uncle had. I never knew what I was doing in it as a kid and just liked to explore and try not to die. Just this year I went back and played it again and was actually able to beat it. It sure feels dated now though. Everything looks the same and there are basically no clues to where you're supposed to go. And it lags like poop.

PixelBrick : My first was the original for the NES that belonged to my neighbor. In the mid-late 90s, my father borrowed it and took turns with me playing through the game as far as we could. Of course even at the age of 8 I had no idea what do and played BLINDLY, especially because I was not given any instructions or even an objective nor told how Samus' powerups worked(dad didn't know either) and the only one I found on my own was the Morphing Ball because it's close by and in plain sight (yeah I'm ashamed now but I did not think much back then), and I had not heard of Metroid until that point. Good times. The next one I would play is Super Metroid on an emulator in the early 2000s by suggestion of a friend.

My first Metroid game was Metroid prime. I've been a lifelong fan ever since, and beaten nearly every game in the series. It's definitely my favorite franchise of all time. Can't wait for another release for the 3DS!!

Well, my first Metroid game ever has been Metroid Fusion for the Gameboy Advance As a little child, I saw it once somewhere in a store, and I was so fascinated as I looked at the cover, so I wanted to buy it... then my father gave it to me as a present, and then I became addicted to it xD

My first Metroid game was Metroid Fusion for the GBA I really enjoyed that game. I got it from something called the 3ds ambassador program which was something 3ds owners who bought the system before it went down in price got which game users 10 gba and 10 nes games. One of the gba games was Metroid Fusion.

First Metroid game was Metroid Prime. I loved everything in that trilogy. I exclude Hunters because it was awful. The flow of the game was obnoxious and the storyline had no relevance. It was comparable to anime filler seasons, but not as entertaining.

I have just recently gotten into my first Metroid game. I've been playing Zero Missions a lot lately. Before that, I've seen a lot on the games, I know how awesome people say they are, and I decided I should play one, and I decided to start with Zero Mission.

My first Metroid game was the original from the NES, but the thing is that I played it on a PSone emulator, (actually I never finish it) after that I played and finished Super Metroid on a PS2 emulator, and finally was Metroid Fusion the game that brought me here on Vizzed.

In truth, I was directed to the Metroid series through SSBM, always wondering who Samus was I took to the internet and found the original Metroid and downloaded the Rom; proceeded to play the crap out of it and then got frustrated at the nature of 'such an old game'.  after that I've probably played nearly every Metroid game, save for any of the newer ones.

. I don't really like Metroid but the first metroid game that I played, and sort of liked, was the one on DS. It was an FPS, but I can't remember what it was called. A spin-off of the metroid prime series. THe second was Fusion here on vizzed, and I don't like it to be honest.
