Ziggy : Hmm, this may seem a little weird to some but I think the best video game music could be Legends of wrestling 2 for PS2. It’s not as spectacular as some games obviously but they did a great job mixing game music with actual rock music that was quite popular at the time and probably still is in certain circles.

What I like now of days especially on PS3 is you can upload what ever music you want and use it on certain games. It’s a good excuse for us 80’s Marks to go and either copy custom CDS or stuff from MP3’s onto a console. For instance on MLB 10 The Show you can actually play to your jukebox and mute the game elements like crowd noise, PA announcements and play-by-play. It’s good when you’re playing during the late night hours when you can’t really sleep. Keeps you awake…

The background music that plays in the intro of the video game X Men clone wars for sega genesis is pretty tight. It's the first thing I noticed before I started playing.
