I like retro gaming more because retro games usually come with more cheat codes. The best part of the game is to get to the end and play it again with cheat codes.

I am a very big fan of both. Modern gaming will be something that will probably be thing that always takes up the most of my gaming time due to having friends with similar interests and doing multiplayer with them on a daily basis, but I don't believe I will ever abandon retro gaming due to nostalgia and just the amazing amount of fun those games can be whether single player or multiplayer.

There have been some great games with current gen systems but the classics are truly amazing. I play classics more than modern overall. There's tons of fantastic games out there that aren't current generation. There are so many great titles for Ps2, ps1, gamecube, super nintendo, nintendo 64..I could go on. I think modern gaming is great and is definitely worth playing but we should always come back to the classics.

That's a really difficult question. There was a time, oh, when I was around 16 or so, that I would vehemently tell you that classic 16-bit era games are God's gift to man and nothing could ever stand up to that.


Well, I've been wrong before. I can't say that modern games are better overall, because a lot of them aren't, but with the advent of the indie game developer, and the gaming industry coming to its senses in general, It's a much harder decision for me that to just say what I feel in my heart. Because as much as I love those old games, I still love the modern first person shooter, the advances in strategy games and, although I would once tell you this didn't matter, video games today are just gorgeous, even on modest hardware.


I can't really give you an answer to this question. Classic gaming will always have a place in my heart, but the modern gaming industry is in a really good place right now.

I get more of a surprising Story out of "Retro Gaming" not that "Modern Gaming" isn't interesting.
