I personally don't like to be watched as I'm playing video games a this decreases my attention on the game and more on the people who are watching. This is especially bad when they are chanting for me to win, because I always inevitably fail because, one again, I can't concentrate on the game, but instead on the people chanting.When I am alone, I can concentrate more on the game and succed towards my goal and then be able to accomplish anything I wouldn't have with others. Bottom line is while it's nice to have company, it's possibly best not to have them when playing games.

Probably yeah, because I'm typically good at games, not to sound arrogant. When I'm performing well I get a sense of pride in my friend's reactions, and when I'm doing poorly it can really lead to some funny moments. However, it can also lead to frustration, and some people get kinda stressed, I'm just not one of those people.

Depends on the game.
My sister will watch me play Metal Gear, Ratchet and Clank, and other games with a plot to it.
Games Like Battlefield and Saints Row 2, no way any one watches that

Well yes and no, I do like people watching because I like the audience to be thrilled or excited, the problem is if I get my butt kicked by the computer, it can make me feel embarrised.

I really does depend on the game , I don't like having people watch me if I am playing a direct intense game online but if just causally gaming I don't mind.    

I like having an audience... showing off in games. When there's no audience, sometimes I record myself playing and show people the vids later :p

I can't stand having people watch me, but I survive. I can if I'm playing with them, but observers got to go.

If it's a wrestling game, then yes, I get embarrassed when my mom laughs at me getting tombstoned by the undertaker.

That kinda depends. Usually, I would rather SHOW people something, like something I figured out or something. Otherwise, it tends to make me nervous.

Especially if it's my little brothers. They tend to ask a lot of questions or just end up getting plain obnoxious or what have you.

I can't even play games with the lights on. Why would I want to be watched?
Back in the Coin-Op days it did happen and was not much of a bother.
Half the time I was eating a Burger while stomping someone on X-Men vs Street Fighter, Street Fighter, or Marvel vs Capcom. Who would not watch a show like that? One dude playing one-handed stomping another frustrated teen or twenty-something using both their hands.

Now that everything is on consoles?
I do not want to be watched by anyone.
If I bring over a date and they decide to spend the day on the phone I turn on the x-box and wait it out. If I am watched then? It is not much of a bother.

Other than that I hate being watched doing anything. It is one matter if I am being paid for it. It is another if I am off the clock.

It depends on the game and the situation. If I'm playing a game that I think is really awesome and has plenty of action, I like it when someone that's never played it watches me. Mostly because I'm wanting them to join in multiplayer with me. xD Otherwise, I don't care one way or the other with most games, and there are a few that I don't want people watching me play.

Yes I like being watched when I play video games so people can witness my gaming skills.Who else will witness my skills excluding myself?

To me, I feel like it's not really a question if I like people to watch me play video games but it's more of... are they enjoying watching me play?  My dad would watch me play video games and he would enjoy it.  Same with some of my friends but I have other friends who get bored and do something else.  Personally, I don't mind playing in front of others.  Especially if they're experiencing the same emotions while they're watching. 

I actually like being watched and cheered on, it helps.
