Usually allowing members to nominate their own people for awards leads to confusion, possible arguments, and often times just not enough people vote. So this year, I'm handing out the awards and there is only 7 awards and 1 member gets 'Member of the Year' award.



Here are the awards:

Generous member of the year: John
WHY? was the only member of the year to donate money to Vizzed ($10), and only the 2nd in Vizzed Board history (Mike also donated years ago). Thanks John!

Most active member of the year: BigBob85
WHY? he's posted more in the past year than anyone else. How do I know this? Well just take a look at this, this displays how many posts each member has received in last year (past 365 days). In 2nd is me, and than MichaelVash in 3rd.

Newbie of the year: ugar0
WHY? this award can only be given out to newbies in the past year, and I chose ugar0 because he has posted a lot and has put time/thought into his posts. He's a valuable member and I'd wish for all the upcoming newbies of Vizzed to have some of his traits.

Staff member of the year: MichaelVash
WHY? next to dragon master, MVash seems to be on a lot and has helped maintain things. Even though he may not be the most active in posts, he probably looks thru the most posts of anyone else.

Most unique member of the year: Dragon Master
WHY? who else is as crazy as this guy? He's got his own forum dedicated to himself...a little weird eh? Most conversations with him can be an interesting experience.

Board Developer of the year: Bigbob85
WHY? well this would have gone to fragg3r, but the only difference between fragg3r and bigbob85 is the fact that Bigbob does all the work for free. And why not Randy get this award? he hasn't put nearly as much time into vizzed board as bigbob. Bigbob is almost always there for me and vizzed board when little things need to be done, and he has a big role in the future of vizzed board.

Leader of the year: Davideo7
WHY? The poem in my header says it all (and the fact I own this place). Besides, I couldn't go the year without an award


And now for the Member of the Year award....














Member of the year: Bigbob85
Not only did he receive 2 awards, but he has put more time into this board than anyone has, is always there to help me out, and never charges me money. On top of all that, he's extremely helpful, has enhanced this board a bit, made the arcade, always friendly, conservative/christian, and dedicated to making Vizzed Board successful.

So lets give a thanks to Bigbob85 and all his work he's done for Vizzed Board.


And sorry for those who didn't get awards, but I could only hand out 7. As a board owner, I couldn't ask for better board members, lets just hope 2008 becomes a successful year for Vizzed board, we've got a lot of new features on the way which will help out a ton.

I personally think I should have received that newbie of the year award......but than again I did say in my very 1st post for no one to call me a newbie I bet that is why (god your imature)

After my defeat of evil (spammers, rule breakers, John) I haven't posted as much since there really isn't much evil to beat. I guess I should post more to prevent evil from flourishing though. Maybe I'll be able to post some more this year.

Hopefully activity picks up here with the "Activity Wave" starting today/tomorrow and lasting thru the 1st of January.

I'm pretty positive that the 2008 outlook is a very good one. I've got plans for a huge project for sometime in 2008 that will not only generate a ton of activity, but some money also (which will be recycled back into vizzed). This project, whose current abreviated name is "FSCM", will probably cost me $1000 or so but I'm pretty confident that I'll get that money back in profit within a year. I will release more information about this project 2008, I don't release anything about it until it's actually in development...I don't even think MichaelVash or Bigbob know about it yet, but it'll be a nice surprise for Vizzed Board.

FYI, I've been hired full time to my job and have also opened up an ebay store, so even though I'm tight on money right now, that wont necessarily be the case in a few months.

Grats to all the winners. Speaking of which Bob I need to talk to you one day soon so I can notify you of what files im going to be replacing and such. This will be a big launch in the (soon future) I'm still surprising you guys.

I should get a reward for coming back and not abandoning everyone or even a comeback award. Great job BigBob for the awards probably don't mean anything not even for Viz.

It's bragging rights and satisfaction. Obviously everyone here deserves some kind of award but to hand out that many would take forever and no one would really care as much if there were 50+ awards handed out, so I stuck with 7.

And sorry Randy that you didn't get the Developer award, maybe next year

I love the number 7, whenever possible, I do everything in 7...take a look at user number 7 on vizzed board

Ironicly, God's favorite number is also 7, as to why he did everything in 7's (7 day week and to keep the 7th day of the 7 day week holy - also made the world in 7 days, etc).

Yes, the sabertooth is a great example, costs 7777 and rises all the stats by either 7 or 77. There's also a post syndrom which requires 777 posts.

On top of all that, my favorite Final Fantasy is the 7th, Final Fantasy 7...actually it's my most favorite game ever.

There was actually a time that I got so obssessive about it that I had exactly 7 staff members, wouldn't go below or above that count.

There are many other examples I'm sure.
