Halo 1 change the way we view games today, it was the start of something new! Halo 1 sold over FIVE MILLION Copies as of november 9th 2005, it was released in April 8, 2002 with a total of one million sold.
Halo two had 1.5 MILLION just PRE ORDERED! The game sold 2.4 million copies and earned up to US$125 million in its first 24 hours on store shelves!
Halo 3 on it's First-day sales of Halo 3 reached $170 million in the U.S., setting a record for highest gross of an entertainment product within 24 hours of its release.
See a pattern?.. no matter what happens people are going to buy it, even though its the same game over and over again FOR THE MOST PART, i love the games dont get me wrong! the story is beautiful! But the Killing of Grunts and so on is getting old... Bungie do somthing new! people are NOT going to get tired of Halo I THINK.
BUT then they made Halo Wars, where their sales went down just a bit (i dont have the numbers)
ODST sold 1.5million in september for a best selling title for a month.
Halo Reach? TWO HUNDERED MILLION! $200,000,000, 2 million!! DOLLARS! on the first DAY! people that is the first DAY OF SALES! 200million?!?! Heck if Bungie knows people WILL buy the game they will NOT stop making the product, but they have to stop sometime of they will dry the well out and lose money throguh production and marketing nd such...
Halo 4 i predict about another 200million or at the most 300million the first day of sales, an i bet theres arouns 1-5 million in preorder sales..
