The rising sea levels isn't the only consequence of global warming you know

Many other things will happen, such as harsher winters & summers which will lead to vegetation, crops & animals dying and that will be the beginning of the end at that point

We will all most likely starve, fry and freeze to death in succession

If anything about the rising sea levels, that will be one of the last things to happen once we're beginning to disappear

Then maybe eventually the sun will implode or explode, followed by an impact of an asteroid to end the planet's life in totality

What do you have to say about that?

Global Warming is a scam & 2012 is a scam Why? Both of those are just marketing tools for people like Al Gore and Roland Emmerich to rank in the big cash. No where on the dam calandar did the world say it would end, some nutcase said that and look what happened lol.

If anything is coming in our life time, it's gotta be the freemasons who have plans set in stone ready to kill billions. They got stones all over the place bragging about how population will be reduced and also have other interesting subliminal carvings, one of which is right here in my local airport.

Yeah okay; if If the person who made this poll meant "end of the world" as in the twenty twelve theory then no I do not believe that the world will end in 2012.

The end of the world is not until about 5 billion years later which the sun would die, so no need to worry about it except maybe 2012.

yeah, "God" destroys the world. Unless the climate changes so much we don't survive or something just cataclysmic happens, we ain't going down unless our stupid asses get stuck on this planet when the sun goes red giant. That's why the government is making a huge mistake messing with the space program. we need out of this section of the solar system if we even want to have a chance at surviving as a species.

Well; looking at the subject from a biblical point, we don't know the day or the hour. We only know the signs, and the signs are here. There are more and more signs now than ever before. More and more prophesy is being fulfilled. So my answer is; the end is coming soon. In my opinion; we are in the last 50 years.

The world will not end completely, a new race and religion will emerge and from what I've seen the year 2094 seems to be a good date its set in stone. People can believe the whole 2012 bull well this is what people should really be afraid of these are the people who control your fate at this very moment and plan to wipe out a very big population of earth. They got tons more subliminal messages all over the place just gotta keep your eyes open

About global warming etc, no I doubt all human life will die due to global warming, at least not in the near future. Maybe in another few centuries the population will be drastically "redistributed", but extinction is probably not going to be the result. But there are several causes of mass extinctions and I'm not sure I can speculate about which is our fate.

If we are talking about prophetic ends of history, then I think Joachim of Fiore was right on for the third age, the age of the holy spirit, beginning in 1260. No one was to be "taken up" then anyway, although who the Antichrist was is a bit hard to discern now. And if it didn't happen then we can put random names on a dart board every year to figure out who next year's potential Antichrist could be. (I assume this is how apocalyptic scenarios are dated as it seems every few years it's going to be "the year") The millennium could start tomorrow...or maybe in 2107, or maybe in 2260 when the Joachite millennium ends and Christ returns.

For inspiration I highly highly recommend reading Norman Cohn's The Pursuit of the Millennium. It's a thrilling read.

I dont believe the world is gonna end in 2012 before this it was said the world would end in 2000 but i didnt so theres no reason to believe that this is any different then that.


And if the world were to end in 2012 why is everyone still trying to spend time doing
things they dont want to if it was the end of world for sure on 2012 i would be busy enjoying the last 2 years of my life to the fullest extent not living on like i am right now in front of a pc bored all day

That's the thing Ibrock...we won't know when the end of the world will happen. Only GOD knows that...don't listen to the rumor of 2012. Remember when they said the world was suppose to end in the year 2000? Y2k? An They said the same thing for years and possibly decades. Just live your life and love it.....when the time comes just know that you have no regrets....but i doubt it's going to happen anytime soon...at least not in our lifetime.

I dont think it will actually why would it?Maybe mankind but our planet may still live eternlay.....still things happening lately make me wonder.I think its probably gonna be the global warming...or maybe war...who knows i think its very soon to think about it.

The planet will be fine. The effects of climate change are very real and are occurring right now, however, we (humans) are the ones that will suffer. The planet has already gone through plenty of phenomena that a little global warming will be nothing too great to recover from.

At this point, we can't predict when the end of the world will occur.People have always said the end of the world will occur any time now for the past 2,000 years after Jesus died. The end of the world could happen in the next hour to the next few thousand years. The point is we will never know, and when we accept that fact, this issue will dissappeare.

I doubt the end is coming anytime soon. Maybe eventually but not sometime soon.

It is possible for the world to end before the sun dies, either though us killing ourselves though green issues, aliens coming and invading us (who knows) or some guy making a giant bomb that kills all of humanity because some stupid reason we won't find out because we will be DEAD (after the bomb explodes).

It can end in any way, we will never really be sure what way, but it will end... hopefully not too soon.

But maybe we will be in space before it ends ?

Also, what is this 2012 thing ? Can someone explain ? Apparently the movie says something about the sun and the Earth chaining in it's gravity or something, which is super unrealistic .


brandonrock : You will never know if we die before we move to another "Earth" or in science fiction terms, "homeplanet" .

I am not sure exactly when the world will end. There are so many ways that it could happen. I personally try not to worry about it too much because either the world ends, or I die during the natural life cycle. Either way it's pretty much the same to me.
