Mine would be Mario because not only is he very popular, I see him as the savior of Nintendo because, in the October Nintendo Power I saw these words that made me think about Mario, "Back before Super Mario Bros. Breath new life into a dying video game industry in 1985, who would've guess that such absurd concepts would add up to the most beloved and influential games of all time?" Chris Slate.  What it means is if Nintendo was not saved by Mario, then we would not have games like Super Smash Bros, Legend of Zelda, Donkey Kong Country, Kirby and Mario Kart.  Luckily we all now that Nintendo leaving never happened in 1985 so I say these words: Mario Forever!!!

I have far too many. I know who one of my favorite villains is. That would be Lan Di from the Shenmue series. You actually only see him (outside of dreams) twice in the series (they never finished it). But he is freaking epically BA and a terrifying guy. I have never seen such a cold stare in a video game character.

My favorite video game character would probably be Mario. I mean he redefined video games and is considered a cultural icon. One of the first video games I ever played was Super Mario Bros so I have him and Shigeru Miyomoto to thank for that.
