Mmm... X-Box had Halo and Halo 2... Well they are what i enjoyed the most... THey had NFSU2 but so did PC and heck i think PS2 had that... So though it wqas good it wasnt really an X-Box thing.

GC had NFSU2. The recent Game Informer actually makes the arguement that the only reason there is still an Xbox around is because of Halo.

heh, i would believe it to... Halo has really kept the x-box alive... is Perfect Dark 2 coming to Wii or PC? If not the 360 will have that... Thats an awesome game!

Considering what they have done since then pretty much sucked, and PDZ (Zero) was often said to not look next gen and only got mediocre reviews it's not a big loss.

Oh please. Have you actually played it? Like really played it? I have and trust me it is awesome! I almost say it beats Halo

I'm just going with what several different reviews have said. I saw some in-game footage and again it doesn't really look "next-gen", and yeah while Wii games might look the same Nintendo isn't going around yelling about how their graphics are going to be next gen like MS did. I mean I'm sure it's alright, but it can't beat Goldeneye (nor Perfect Dark) for the N64, but I don't think Halo even beat that.

Exactly... Microsoft has been on the market forever. And though they were last to the console market. THe X-Box was with out a doubt a success... Now they know once they make there console profitable they will be infinently rich... Well they are now.. but thats not the point...

But the 360 was the first next gen system on the market is what i ment.

well not to side with the enemy. But Vash may be right it really isnt all the next gen... It just looks different.. And ive seen nothing spectakular abut graphics... SO far... I may have m,y POV changed when i see Halo 3 however

When i get halo 3 is the day i am very happy (i run out of things to say).
But u look at when xbox came out how crap it was, and the original playstation. Give it some time b4 they can make the good games.

When was the PS1 released? Cause FFVII was released in 97 or 98... So i am expecting to wait about that long for an awesome game to come out on 360... But still.. perfect dark 2 is awesome... But Halo 3 WILL p4nage over it...

Eventually 360 games will look better no doubt about it. But it should be a very interesting race.

I might be programing xbox 360 games maby in University. Last year they made a PS2 game. Was pritty cruddy, but then again, it was a class of students, on a budget, so it was wiked cool

I watched the shadowrun trailer, A game that I am extremely excited about.

It was an rpg for both the snes and the genesis, I'm sure I've talked about it elsewhere on the board. But it was wicked innovate and wicked cool.

Originally it was a pen and paper rpg (still is) ALA D&D

But anyway, the trailer was very disappointing. Microsoft is basically the company that is making it. I still have very high hopes for it though.

99 Nightes looks very promising... Other than that...

On the ps3? It has a very High price point, I think that all three companies had a strong showing at E3,

I really don't like the ps3 controller, being as how I didn't like the other sony controllers (I was weened on the 6 button genny controller and never looked back, moving to the six button analong, dual trigger saturn controller, to the inovative Dreamcast controller, to the slick xbox controller)

But whatever floats your boat. It will be very interesting to see what happens, I don't plan on getting any other type of game system (like psp or ds) just mabey a badass computer, but thats awhile off. I just paid 90$ for a three year warranty on my 360. Worth it? Mabey.
