Jason kills in a glory fashion.
Freddy kills using the person's fears.
Michael kills stealthy. What I mean is that a person doesn't know where he's at and then pow...Michael appears and kills him.

I grew up with Jason and Michael. My vote goes to Jason because as a kid I would peak through my fingers in order to see him. That's when you know your scared. lol.

Hmm...as far as impressive, it depends on what impresses the viewer. If immense gore and violent ways of murdering works, then Jason will likely be the top choice. If it was just raw creativity, then Freddie gets the vote for killing you in your dreams, but as far as unsettling, I have to give it to Michael.

As far as the first two Halloween films goes, Michael Myer's biggest advantage was the atmosphere. His character was played in a way to unsettle the viewer before killing the victim, which for me gets huge points. I seen some comments about his orthadox means to kill, but Halloween was one of the early films in the slasher genre (technically pyscho preceded it by a wide margin, if you wish to call it a slasher) so of course it is going to be slightly cliche...actually in a way its cliche charm, in my opinion, makes it scarier because something you wouldn't expect to be a threat is...plus Michael is the closest thing to a real human doing the killing which makes him unsettling.

That is taking into account the film's goals though...I will have to say that Michael's unsettling and quiet nature is my favorite regardless.

bigred0069 :   I enjoyed the Friday the 13th franchise the most growing up.  Jason Takes Manhattan!  Freddy Kruger was pretty funny.  Halloween H20 was pretty good along with the original Halloween but the rest weren't that great.  Rob zombie did a descent remake of the original but his second Halloween movie was terrible.  I was really annoyed with Michael Myers flashbacks/hallucinations of his mother.
