Anything fast and heavy. Slipknot is one of my favorite bands... up until the subliminal verses album... I love Disturbed and Tool... but I also like music that's a bit softer too like SR71 and Paramore.

For a genre it is Metal. Not all kinds of Metal... the screaming stuff I just can't get into lol If i can't understand the damn lyrics than how am I supposed to enjoy the song, right? Anyway, Metal is my favorite Genre. Bands like Metallica, Megadeth, Pantera, Meliah Rage, Skid Row, Metal Church.... you know, METAL! I also like certain Rap... yes Rap.... just old school stuff though, however Eminem is very very talented at Rapping and I love the guys songs, old or new.

Hard rock is my genre. I'd say metal, but there are bands that don't quite hit that peak on my list. My favorite bands, in order, are: Disturbed, Bullet for my Valentine, Nonpoint, Sevendust, Linkin Park, Papa Roach, Metallica, Dethklok, Three Days Grace, and Shinedown. Good stuff.

I'm into Emo from the 90's and Post-Rock. I also enjoy Punk every now and then.

My top bands: Mineral, Explosions in the Sky, Sunny Day Real Estate.

I don't have one specific genre of music I like/listen to.

All types of music interest me (except jazz, country and the blues)

Rock, Trance, Techno, and Pop is what I normally listen to.

legacyme3 : Well first of all, I hate Axl Rose, he is well..a biggot and a clown to the music industry. Marilyn Manson takes everything that is beautiful in the world and trashes it, brings it all down. Now sure, I enjoy some guns n roses but very limited.

-They aren't good
-Their music is boring
-Band A has more explosions (I still try and figure out what that means)

So really, your reason is at least more justified.

I won't agree on the Marilyn Manson thing (Don't really like much music other than my faves to be honest), but it's not the worst thing I've ever heard.

legacyme3 : Well, you should check out Manson's autobiography "The Long Hard Road Out of Hell" it's pretty insightful, I mean I only liked a small portion of his music but that book..it really turned me around, even gave me my religion..Levayan Satanism. I am my own God, to put it short. Really check out the movie and the album "The Last Tour on Earth" and songs "Antichrist Superstar" and "I Don't like the Drugs (But the Drugs like Me)"

Yep, its very true. A lot of people aren't educated in their favorite stars..or band members..so I've chosen to become aware and everything I've found about Manson I like and can relate to.
