Sister Game Smash
Pokémon Emerald- Pokémon is known for it's addictive game play. Nintendo usually releases 2 Pokémon games at a time, Each similar but with different Pokémon you can catch in each, so you can get involved with your friend to get Pokémon from the other game.Usualily about a year and a have later, Nintendo releases a "Sister" game, featuring added Content. Pokémon Emerald is Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire's Sister game, and a good one at that.
GRAPHICS-- Outside of Pokémon battle, they're nothing spectacular. They're Pokémon's standards and the GBAs limits. But in battle, they're a GBA Greatness, With every move having it's own animation. Little things such as that show that Game Freak really tried to improve upon Ruby, Sapphire, Gold and Silver. The 2 Frames for a Pokémon when they enter battle tells you that you didn't go wrong with this game, As it TELLS you the game's superior to it's Ruby and Sapphire predecessors.
SOUND-- I was surprised to find that a lot of different areas had different music, as before, with a few notable exceptions, Cough Lavender Town Cough, Pokémon was pretty lax about putting different music in for different places. ADDICTIVENESS-- All Pokémon games are notoriously addictive. Your drive for improvement makes you come back for more very often for making your team the best in the Hoenn region.
Story-- Finally we have a story that isn't simply just - 1. Catch the Pokémon- 2. Be the best! 3... Beat Team Rocket. It's not like that. We have a story about a kid who's trying to save his home region from either being covered in water or magma, with the evil teams who are trying to do so battle each other and awaken Pokémon of mass destruction. I won't spoil the ending for you, but the end is pretty satisfying.
DEPTH-- Each Sister game adds more to the table, so you have a amazing and long adventure for you, with a long main ... Read the rest of this Review
