P.O.W. Review
P.O.W. Review
Ok Starting out in this game is an old school NES war game. I like the position and starting of this game with the first mission/level being you escaping from your prison cell, but I have no idea where you got the dynamite to do that. You will notice right off the bat the NES Graphics...not the greatest. But I find the graphics in this game are better than most fighting and war games on NES like Predator and such. For this I have given the Graphics and 7 out of 10.
The sound isn't too bad at all. You get a lot of cool elements in this game Gun shots, Grenades exploding, Helicopters Tanks and some other stuff. Attacking sounds are a bit lacking but hey it was NES...come on how good could it possibly be? The music in the game is what does it for me. That is why I gave the Sound a 6 out of 10 instead of 4 or 5.
This game is not easy so it will have you sucked in playing this for a while unless you happened to have owned it or played it many time over like I have. Yes I have owned this game and beaten it many times over and I still Love to play it. Seriously additive to me, but for most however you might not be addicted to it as much as me but you will want to finish the game most likely. The levels get immensely harder as you go along so I see a lot of continues in your future. That is why I gave the game Only a 7 out of 10 in addictiveness.
Well the Main story starts out as the title screen indicates...You're a Prisoner of War. "P.O.W" so you will be escaping from a hostile enemy in the middle of their war torn lands. As you follow through with the game you start to notice that you are not only escaping but trying to sabotage the enemy forces while doing so it evolves a little but not much. You get some nice action with certain battles but other than that it's pretty much straight forward. That is why I gave it a 6 out of 10 on the Story. Most people would probably rate it lower although.
Ok as far as the stor... Read the rest of this Review

Final Fight One
When it comes to the Final Fight games this is a rather good one! It's graphics are not the best(due to the fact its on GBA) but they are not the worst I have seen. If you notice while playing it has some features that's only Final Fight CD(Sega CD) and the Arcade versions have. All 3 Characters Guy, Cody and Haggar are playable. But like I said earlier it lacks the graphics.
One of the cool things I seen with this game is the original names of the first 2 bosses are in this game! The game has some pretty cool features when it comes to cheats. They are located in the Options special menu which include new clothing colors for all 3 characters and Guy and Cody have special outfits. Plus you can get the rapid punch feature which allows you to just hold the attack button down and it rapid punches. Overall very good cheats.
Difficulty ranges in very decent margins until you get to the "very hard" setting. I do not recommend anyone who isn't used to playing any version of Final Fight to try this until you get your barrings. Even I got owned on the Very Hard setting. You are surrounded constantly by 5-7 enemies. Plus you don't often get life boosts. So start out on easy and work your way up.
Over all it is a really good game so take my advice and give it a shot its rather addictive! Just enjoy yourself and have fun!

Final Fight CD
This is an old school beat em up game done right. I remember playing this over 10 years ago for both Super Nintendo and Sega CD. I love how this game is much harder on the easy setting than Final Fight 2 and Final Fight 3 on hard. I have no idea why this game is so much harder than it's Super Nintendo counterpart, maybe they just wanted to make it more like the arcade game. I have also tried the MAME version of Final Fight on here(of course not on my comp because for some reason MAME doesn't work) but I would say they are about the same but MAME graphics are a little better.
They don't make addictive games like this anymore. As you can see from all my screen shots and high score I am an addict!
I really do suggest giving this game a try...then try it again....and again....and again!
Good luck to you!
