To The MoonI was first introduced to this game a while back when I watched Markiplier play it at the time and really, I didn't find it to be too interesting. I thought that the game was a bit too slow for me, but recently I had the opportunity to get the game, so I did and I tried it out for myself. I did not end up in awe, but the game did turn out to be better than what I had thought from the videos and I am happy that I played it.
GRAPHICS. 7/10
As for graphics, I would say that it's pretty much on par with what most RPG's look like. Its not spectacular, but its simple yet has a ton of detail and is easy to work with the game play. The setting and characters have a good blend of color and design and that makes the game fun to look at. My grade for graphics is going to be a 7 out of 10.
SOUND 7/10
I wouldn't say this game has the best music, but I will say that the music fits the game pretty well and overall is good. Unlike some of my favorite games, this has no music that I would want to listen to on my own, but while im playing, the music works really well and is quite beautiful to listen to. My grade for sound which I will base on music will be a 7 out of 10.
ADDICTIVENESS 8/10
To me, this isn't a game I would want to play over again, but it is the kind where while im playing it, I would want to get the most out of it. The game doesn't have battles or even items like most RPG's but has a lot of potential to be fun as a story driven game, kind of like why I like Persona so much. The game revolves around puzzles really, which are cool, and my grade for addictiveness will be an 8 out of 10.
STORY10/10
The game focuses purely on story and is about going through the memories of a dying man who wants to have his memories changed so he thinks he went to the moon. A good story will always make a game good, and this one definitely has a good story that's really fun to follow and even sad. My grade for story will be a perfect 10 out of 10.
DEPTH 6/10
Honestly, I wouldn't really say that the game has a lot of depth mainly because its so focused on sticking to the story, there's some puzzles and roaming around a house for clues, but that's about it, the rest of the game is mainly just watching the story unfold. My grade for depth will be a 6 out of 10.
DIFFICULTY 2
The game is not really difficult, some of the puzzles might be a challenge and it might be a bit hard to find what you are looking for, but other than that you are mostly following a set path so there's isn't really that many places for you to mess up, and if you were to mess up or get stuck, all you need to do is try again. The game is easy and my grade for difficulty will be a 2.
OVERALL 7.8/10
Overall the game is pretty fun. If you are more into the battling kinds of games then I wouldn't suggest you play it but if you like a good story in a game then I do suggest you give this one a try because you could end up liking it like I did. I found the game to be quite amusing and my overall grade for To The Moon is going to be a 7.8 out of 10.
