What exactly are your plans to make this site do well financially? And of those plans, what are you not currently doing? What, in your opinion, is the reason that the site isn't doing as well as it used to? You said $150 is like $5,000 to you, at what point do you think you'll believe that making this site a viable financial option isn't worth it anymore? Other than posting this thread, what other efforts have you put into finding work? To what extent are you currently employed? Who was your previous employer, what was your exact role, and why are you no longer with them (may be related to the previous question, answer for your current employer as well if you have one)? Why does your portfolio page talk more about the kind of shirts that you buy than about the work that you did for your previous employers? If you were looking to hire someone for a freelance job, why would you hire yourself?

A sheriff is a cop. The claims that you've made to me and Mors, and now that you've hinted about, suggest that you claim either Tracker/Border Patrol, or Watcher. It's possible that Yoshi screwed up what role he was told you are, but it's just another odd coincidence that doesn't look good for you if that's the case.

The problem with killing deggle is still that he came up as mafia according to a bad cop. I still can't come up with how that could have happened if he actually is mafia. But he did end up hearing from both cops immediately before they died. And since he's not talking, yoshi said that he came up as mafia sheriff. His reports haven't been consistent with a sheriff, so that's another issue where he looks suspicious.

Anyone willing to do a current vote tally and a recap of everyone that's died? I feel like we still have the numbers to mislynch another day. But I don't remember our starting numbers or how many mafia died. I remember that they seemed to be dropping like flies early on.

I'll throw in everything I know now. I talked to both Mors and yoshi, and everything SL said is accurate. The reports I know of are the following:

Me - investigated as mafia
Seishiro - investigated as mafia
Gamin'Gal - investigated as mafia
deggle - investigated as mafia with a power role

Worth noting that both Mors and yoshi had plans to talk to deggle the night before they both died. It's definitely suspicious, but how could deggle have been seen as mafia with a power role by a bad cop if that's accurate? He'd appear as just mafia if he were the godfather.

So I'd add a third option to SL's list, deggle has awful luck and our 2 bad cops just happened to die after PMing him.

I don't see how Seishiro is the logical vote at all right now. Because of the mafia report, odds are that he's a villager who got desperate and was making stupid votes. Holding strong on an equally stupid bandwagon vote is suspicious as hell. And an FoS against the guy whose bandwagon your jumping on because you don't know if he's "completely innocent" is nonsensical too. Do you know if any of us are completely innocent?

We really have to not take shots in the dark at this point. We need our power roles to start collaborating with the people that they've found they can trust to find ways to start letting us know what they found out. That way we can make an educated vote instead of risking killing another town member.

For whatever it's worth, I talked to Yoshi before he died and he had investigated Seishiro as mafia. Since he was a bad cop, that means that Seishiro is either a villager or a godfather (unless there's another possibility that I'm overlooking, feel free to tell me if I'm wrong). I don't think it's worth risking a shot at a godfather right now. For evidence that I'm not making this up, see my post yesterday where I said I didn't FoS Seishiro after his indefensibly bad vote that killed our doctor.

The vote yesterday was definitely a bad one, but kind of looked like a shot in the dark with not much to go on. I don't FoS Seishiro, personally. I'm more suspicious of NovemberJoy for quickly jumping on the random pick, his vote ended up being the decider and there really wasn't much reason for it. It was too quick to jump on board with someone else.

And with a ton of people inactive it's worth noting that sometimes town friendly roles, like the doctor, will stay a little quiet to try to avoid attracting attention from the mafia. Voting someone for inactivity too quickly instead of based on facts is risky. earthwarrior might be right that it's time for someone to out with information. It's at least time to start discussing when we want people to start claiming.

Not gonna vote just yet, but FoS Frodlex. He was pretty quick to jump on the vote for Snow, and the excuse that it was to try to protect himself from being tied in votes made no sense. There wasn't really any reason to think anyone would vote for him.

Zero actual evidence that the footballs were even deflated in the AFC championship game. No evidence that anything other than taping from the wrong location was done during spygate. No evidence that the Patriots did anything to the Steelers headsets or the headsets of any other teams. No evidence that the Patriots took anything from a visiting team. With all the allegations, you'd think that someone would have even a shred of evidence. But there's none.

And another story was written recently by Kravitz about how a ref said that McNally seemed suspicious in the 10-15 games that he officiated in Foxborough. Sounds pretty legit. Except the guy only officiated 6 times in Foxborough, only 4 of those were games that Brady played in, and only 3 of them were games that McNally was the ball boy for. Also the guy worked for the Colts. Just because there have been a lot of allegations with no weight behind them doesn't mean anything.

It's pathetic how many fake stories there are. It's not true that once a cheater always a cheater - all allegations require evidence. They owned up in Spygate. The cooperated during the deflategate investigation. And yet there's still no solid evidence at all. It's to the point that people complain about cheating for anything they don't understand.
