I'm sure the name I usally use in my game files --- "AW-3" --- will do to identify me. |

Here's my request to be signed up. =B Though I must ask, how do I get matched with someone to compete against? And do we have to PM each other to schedule our face-off? Are we given the name of the game we are to play for the week? Though I must ask, how do I get matched with someone to compete against? And do we have to PM each other to schedule our face-off? Here's what I've watched / listened to since joining the herd: Doctor Whooves & Assistant Doctor Whooves Adventures (These two intersect at some point, did u know that?) Turnabout Storm (Can't wait for part 5/4! Hopefully soon!) Watched a few of Friendship is Witchcraft; though I'm able to take it, there are other, better kinds of humor I'm more inclined to. Did u watch Voice of Reason's review of it? Camaraderie is Supernatural (which I consider, based on its direction, a tribute to the very essence of parody) (^o^ Can I include comics too? Then I'll put in Slice of Life (a.k.a. Four Cakes and a Pie). Discord's Emerald Chaos Nuzlocke. Now this one is interesting too, despite the total lack of polish or effort. It's found here: http://dragonwolfrooke.deviantart.com/art/Discord-s-Emerald-Chaos-Nuzlocke-Page-1-322983739 Aaand I can't think of others right now. . . Evil G : What do you mean by "bland"? And are you making your observation based on this image you shared here, or is it from actually watching yesterday's episode and seeing her character after the transformation? |

It's my current obsession. =P lol I think it's one of the best cartoon shows I've seen or heard of lately! The writing is smart; the characters are great and likeable; the animation is fluid and even creative at times (Flash is awesome!); humor and comedy is so brilliant and clever and just about everything you wished modern Looney Tunes had; the songs and musical numbers in the show are good (no stinkers) and written well I think; the morals and themes, while straightforward, are nice and built up to well. And it's all saying: "TAKE THAT, INSIGNIFICANT AND BORING BACKGROUND PONY GENERATIONS! YOU NO LONGER BELONG IN THIS WORLD!" OwO Sure I'm aware of a few flaws, but they don't dampen the fact that I'm very impressed with this show ever since I started watching it, and I'm no longer ashamed to call myself a brony now. (*brohoofs nearest person*) And if you don't like the show, . . . I won't diss you or anything, it's fine. Just try to understand how someone like a 20-some-year-old would like it AND preserve his "man card". If you can't get yourself to watch an episode, watch a review instead first and get the reviewers' input. I think it's one of the best cartoon shows I've seen or heard of lately! Here's a thought that could be implemented (if it hasn't already): Allowing users to watch active Netplay sessions without actually joining the game. They can go to the game page (or maybe load the game up) and see if there's any active Netplay sessions going on, and choose to watch it. It's like being a spectator at someone's house, watching others play the game, only you're doing it online through a live video stream. Unless the the Netplay session is set to "Private Play session" or something. That could be useful, too. |

I was just going through some of the earlier posts of this thread, and you said that Godaddy had started offering servers with bigger capacities and everything that would let you put disc-based systems on Vizzed. But since you changed servers (providers?), I was wondering if the new provider has something similar that you can use whenever you gather enough for those major updates. |

To those of you who are getting eye strain from ---- or even distaste of ---- the 3d effects, try this before talking bad about it: Go to Settings, then 'Other Settings' > '3D Screen Check', and follow the instructions for adjusting the 3d to your level and preference. I really noticed a difference afterwards, as I experienced zero eye strain from OoT3D even at full blast (before, my eyes got a little tired after a little while on the "full blast" level) and what's more, when I played with the depth slider, Link and the environment around him transitioned in depth so naturally that it felt kinda weird, especially since I was used to feeling the eye strain from beforehand. . . . Mm, how about others here try this themselves and see if I'm not mistaken and that my experience with what I talked about was not coincidental? All in all, you cannot trust the store models (unless you can/are allowed to adjust the settings on them). And you remember that the 3d stuff isn't the only noteworthy feature of the system, so it's fine if someone has his/her system on 2d mode. It still has the crisp, Wii-quality graphics and the improved wireless functions (over the DS and Wii). =) . . . To add to what I said before, I think the show should at least try to explain the always-shifting-and-changing mystery dungeons, make it more believable. Same thing with the culture the local pokémon formed and how it was influenced by the guilds, teams and mystery dungeons and everything; same result needed (that is, to try and make it believable). Hmm, what if they decide not to adapt the game story directly, but make a whole new PMD story instead? . . . They could make it Gen 5 based! And perhaps have multiple humans become pokémon, each with varying amounts of memory (kinda like this story does)! Or maybe it doesn't involve humans at all, kinda like the Japan-only WiiWare PMD titles. Hmm, what if they decide not to adapt the game story directly, but make a whole new PMD story instead? . . . epicpokenerd! : Really? I thought they didn't listen to the ideas of us fans, especially from individual persons. One of my main problems with the show was that they made it too much like the games. I'd even put up with any bad voice acting/casting if they could just change things a little, just enough to make it say "tv animated show" ---- or even "kid's show" ---- and not "the game, but animated and linear." Like, cut it out with the items and the magical (read: videogame logic-esqe) things they do! And yeah I know it's nice to see familiar locales from the game, but not when they look silly on a screen bigger than a DS's. And I didn't get why the guild would let a beginning team take on a job they're not ready for ---- namely, one that requires them to face a monstrosity. And then Chatot taking the one treasure reward they got, and Piplup shrugging it off like that? Couldn't the guild rules go back to splitting the money only? Or have another fair way of handling the item earnings? Let's see, considering what would work for an anime. . . This is what I'm saying: The [world of the] PMD anime show should have its own rules to differentiate it from the game [world]. Just like the main Pokémon anime [world] does in contrast with [that of] the main games. One of my main problems with the show was that they made it too much like the games. If you didn't hear him say it before, hear it now: DS games won't be here anytime soon, not while they are still in retail and Nintendo's making money off them. Maybe sometime in the future, but as of now, just stick with the isos on other sites, or if you're no fagging pirate by a long shot (arrgh ya scallywags! XB ), go get some cheap ones at your local game store (I saw the prices at Gamestop). =B Yeah I know Gamecube titles aren't being made anymore, but David still has concerns for the copyrights. So that's not likely either. Speaking of which, this thought's been on my mind. . . You know that Nintendo has the Virtual Console service for downloading digital classic games from older consoles, and they were given modern ESRB ratings and consistent price tags, so you can't really say they're not making money off of them. . . And I like it as it is! ' So David, does that raise any more concern for copyright at all? Especially for the systems and titles that match those in the VC library as of now? Just wondering; I know you know about it. Yeah I know Gamecube titles aren't being made anymore, but David still has concerns for the copyrights. So that's not likely either. Sometimes, when I log on to Vizzed and try playing a game (on the RGR plugin), it takes awhile on the "Getting server resource version info" dialog box before saying: "Error: Failed to download server file version info." I think it helped when I redownloaded the plugin, but the error message is appearing again! What now? |

rcarter2 : Mm, fine. . . Just 1 ad (or maybe 2, depending on where they're placed), placed in a corner where it won't distract me from the game. And I may consider clicking on them every now and then (then firing up Glary Utilities afterwards) to make the sponsors happy with the click buildup. =-) |

I'm not really sure I wanna see ads next to them. There's already plenty of them on the game pages, and guests get ads on their game windows. If you ask me, I'd pick the 'pay more viz' option and/or the 'limit iso downloads' option (the way I'm thinking of it, guests could be limited to 1 or 2 per day, and users up to 5 or so. . . ) If you ask me, I'd pick the 'pay more viz' option and/or the 'limit iso downloads' option (the way I'm thinking of it, guests could be limited to 1 or 2 per day, and users up to 5 or so. . . ) |

zeldamasterninja : Actually, if you ask me, the transitional screen into battle mode is one of the defining quirks of the Pokemon games. Just hearing that epic intro as you switch from the field into battle mode against a wild pokemon or a trainer gets me pumped and ready to lead my Pokemon team to victory! =D Even if/when they ever make a Pokemon MMO, they still can (and maybe should) do that transition-into-battle-mode thing that made the series, whether [the battle] takes place in a separate battle arena or in the immediate field (like Chrono Trigger). I've seen a couple other MMOs have that. Are you kidding? I actually really enjoyed the DP seasons, just as much as Hoenn and the others, if not more. I enjoyed Dawn's character, and noted how much she and Ash learned from each other in their respective battling/contest styles and stuff. The tense rivalry with Paul, and the thing with Chimchar, good. =) And Croagunk replacing Misty and Max in the "Stop Brock's advancement on women" department: more funny with the painful Poison Jabs than with mere ear-pulling. Best iteration of the running joke! Oh, and the contests are even more awesome than in the Hoenn saga! I had also read up on this article beforehand, about how the DP saga impacted the series. It's cool. Oh, and you should make note of some of the episodic subplots that show up. They were nice. =) I have watched the whole series from the beginning since '09 wherever online I could find them, sometimes stopping whenever the threat of a virus popped up, and then I get back to it at a later time. Right now, besides following the BW saga, I've revisited some of the 1st-season episodes cause it's been awhile, and I'm lol'ing at how amateurish the voice actors sounded back then. =P But I really make note of the heart in the first episode, the lengths Ash went to protect Pikachu from the Spearow. And I notice that same selflessness whenever Ash puts himself in danger, even jumping off a cliff or waterfall, in order to save a Pokemon friend. He's inspiring that way, you know. =) Oh, and the contests are even more awesome than in the Hoenn saga! I had also read up on this article beforehand, about how the DP saga impacted the series.
