Davideo7 : Well... years ago, I did invest about 20 or so hours naming about 300+ commadore 64 games for the RGR but I was never commpenstated because tRUINE had to cover for the other couple hundred.

It was a $25 job. It would be nice to have some closure. It was like I was digitally mowing lawns as a summer job when I was eight. I would like to know the percentage of work that I had completed.

1st Hour - Getting a copy of the game.
2nd - 7th Hour - Following a walkthrough step by step for optimisation.

I think I can do it, even though I finished a Pokemon game before. Of course, using a guide ruins a lot of the fun of the series, which is by experimentation.

I've been playing CS:GO, so: I bet the next person can get a 5k ace on Dust2 as CT. Any round.

Gamin'Gal : I am jealous. I always wanted to give Kerbal Air Ride along with Wind Waker a try, but never had a chance considering it's a GameCube exclsuive. Maybe with a stronger computer in the future, I could emulate it at more than 5 frames per second.

I was playing Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. It was okay.

Gunpoint. It was a lot of fun too. Sadly, that was on my sister's account, and I 100%'d it by family sharing.

Also, technically FTL simply because it has no Steam achievements.

There are a couple motives for enjoying 'No Win' sandbox games, such as SimCity, Minecraft, post-mission GTA, post-quest The Elder Scrolls, etc. This can be boiled down to two rather specific ones: the curiosity to explore or the creativity to create.

The first one is pretty self explanatory. Many of these games are just massive. There are things you will miss on your first play through, second, third and so on. You could play the game for a couple hundred hours and never stumble across something someone else had found. I mean, how many of you found the giant mudcrab in Oblivion or Creeper in Morrowind? Hell, I played through Fallout 3 many times and have not once managed to find the war between that ant lady and the robot geek.

The other is a sense of creativity. Not just in simple blockbuilding creation, like Minecraft or SimCity. Though those bring a huge sense of progress, seeing nothing turn into something amazing and complex, and is often a huge appeal, there's also another aspect of creativity that's often overlooked: self-imposed challenges. Want to get five stars in GTA with only a bicycle? Find a wife and start a family without your Sim ever leaving your house?

All these just make sandbox games a very good distraction from the competitive nature of multiplayer matchmaking. However, by how I defined it, what game isn't a sandbox game? Zelda could be considered one, or Mario, due to the self-imposed challenges. We could create more than the developers intended with out imaginations, so where do we drew the line of what is and isn't sandbox?

I've been gone for awhile. This is going to be hard. Most of my votes are probably going to be for people that have been around when I was, like Juliet or Dragon_Master, if I were to vote at all.

Should I vote?
