I agree. The Omega weapon of FF8 is probably THEE hardest boss ever. It didn't help that the stronger your character was, the stronger it was. But despite that, he still was no pushover even with that silly
I mean, firstly, he had over a million HP. And taking into account that IF you're lucky, and Squall does Lion Heart, he deals 100000 damage. That's if you get a full Renzo as well as Lion Heart. Zell's combo trick helped as well for up to 80000. But that's only if you are forced into Limit Break. If you used Auras, you never got those high amounts of time/Renzokukken shots.

Then there's Terra Break. An attack that's like meteor, but it deals 3000-4000 damage PER SHOT. Taking into account that max hp was 9999 and couldn't go higher, this became quite a problem.

I beat him only because of three things.

A Holy War. (Makes entire party invincible for a while) though it was difficult as one had to time that friggen Aura VERY well.
Phoenix. Man, that thing saved me countless times in that battle. He revives your entire party if die.
Angelo something. One of Angelo's moves revived Rinoa. And she was pretty fast so usually I got to revive another char. And then I just had to pray that Omega didn't friggen use Terra Break again...

Another boss that was quite ridiculous in my opinion is the Ultima weapon in FF5. Man. I was really high-leveled and I STILL couldn't beat him. Within the first few seconds of the fight, he simply uses his stupid beam cannon thing and kills all my chars in one attack. REGARDLESS of level... Seriously...

Besides, if I have to fight against anyone, I'd automatically lose.

Well, mine started out as Sky, because I liked the name.

Then, I wanted it longer, because Sky was too common. So I added Storm.

Then, I played Final Fantasy 9.

The rest...is historic gleeness.

I haven't been in any terrorist attack.

Now, even though it may change opinions, it doesn't make it right. It is still unfair to the Iraqis that had nothing to do with the attacks. So I agree to an extent that the actions of the US does have justification, but it's not neccesarily right.

Though that's pure speculation. The US (no offense meant) does have a tendency to be a bit overparanoid.

Well, you are all right of course, but the question is, was it really so bad in Iraq before the US Troops went in there? I mean, you all go on the principle that the terorrist were terrorizing there too, but I don't think it was such a big thing at that time. It started getting much worse now that the US has got in. A lot worse. And you can't say that Iraq will ever recover from this. Besides they are probably set back decades in development because of this. The longer this stretches out, the worse it'll get.

The older versions of the PS3 were able to play PS1 and PS2. But then they removed the functionality for some reason. I believe that they now recently reinstated the PSX backwards compatibility in their machines.

I highly doubt that the PS3 would be able to play PSX games, and not PS2.

In a sense, from an out of US perspective, I'd say that the USA has done exactly what the terrorists wanted. Granted, the attack on the Twin Towers were devestating to say the least, and of course it's a bad thing. BUT. Sending in a whole army into a country where half of them are civilians getting killed, it seems strange. I mean, the terrorist get what they want. Attention. People are obviously completely aware of their existance now, and they even got a reaction out of US government, which might be exactly how they wanted it to go.

Dragging this war on seems like a stupid idea to me. Iraq will probably take years to recover from this if this war ends one day. And I'm pretty sure that most of those bomb attacks, retaliations, etc, are all directly associated with the handful of terrorist groups that live in Iraq. Whereas the general population struggles and suffers because of it.

Loss of US lives more important than Iraq? Sure, from the US perspective, yes. But from outside once more? No. In fact, they are both equal in losses. Especially when taking into account how many civilians has died in relation to soldiers.

Well, rejecting a game soley based on graphics and the lack of a team is a bad judgment. I suggest lending a copy from someone when it is released, and trying it. You might like it. The total different strategies they implemented for the race (Like the teleportation of the Protoss, Terran buildings are now even faster and CC can carry SCV's, Zerg Queen is now 1 unit that can move instantly wherever creep is) and many other things, this is hardly a "WC3 skin" as you call it.

Don't judge a game because it doesn't have what you wanted.

I am a SC fan, and I love the game already.

As for cartoonish, I see no cartoonish-ness about it. As Bigbob mentioned, those are high quality, high polygon models as far as I know, and the colors are completely fitting. I don't see your point.

Well, in a sense, the play-style will be similar, as many of the units have similar stats, but because of the 3D enviroment, things will be waay different inevitebly.
