Hey all. Just had to pop in and add something that hit me as both funny and very to the point with this discussion we are having. I got a PS 4 for a couple of my older grand kids a few months ago. I also just last month introduced them to some older games I have. Here is where I find it both funny and pointed to this talk. Every time they come over they don't want to play my newer stuff but they ask to play the old games. I love it. Their favorite games at the moment is Mario Brothers, Zelda, and Dragon Warrior. So down with the new and break out the old.

Hello all and long time no see to all my friends. Sorry but life has been crazy hectic the past three months. Have had a lot happening including : weddings, funerals, birth of grand kids and nieces, and the loss of a pet. So to begin with sorry I have not been on. Hope all of you are doing very well and having a great Thanksgiving. With that said I'll now get to why I made this thread but bear with me while I set this up for ya'll.
I am not by nature a very emotional person ... in fact if it is not in writing form I have a hard time expressing any emotions other than happy or angry. Right now I am at a loss as to what to do. I recently went through the loss of a couple of very close members of my family and the worst part about it we had a falling out so the last time I saw them it went badly. Plus on top of that earlier in the week I had to put down my male pitbull named Duece. He was almost 13 years old and he died of cancer. He was like my right arm ... everywhere I went he was with me. Now I'm just lost and honestly I feel like screaming. Sorry I know I'm whining but I really needed this. So let me ask my question and I'll leave with wishes for all to have a great day.

Ok my question is how would/what you do to deal with the loss of beloved pets and family?

Hello all. Well in my opinion new is not all it is cracked up to be. Don't get me wrong tho in what I am saying. I like the better graphics and the sheer amount they can put into games. To be honest tho ... I prefer the older systems. The games just hold more familiarity to me and a dearer place in my heart, as I was younger and a lot more enamored with them. To many games now-a-days just get too complicated and I'm not crazy about over complicated paddles either. The newest system I own is a PS 3. Like the new but give me the old games anytime and I will be in gaming heaven. Take it easy all and have a great day.  Oh as far as the PS 4 goes ... I am not a fan and will stay with my PS 3 till I think the PS 4 has evolved enough to go ahead and spend the money on it. Probably about the time PS 5 is coming out.

I'd like to see support for Google Chrome of course because that is all I use. Also would love to see DOS games, N64, and 3DO games added.

Yeah I have some shirts and a couple of jeans that have some small holes in them. I don't generally wear stuff that has a lot of holes or large holes but a few small ones do not bother me at all. Although it does drive my wife crazy and she constantly tries to be sneaky and get rid of them without me knowing. Bad part about that is the fact that they are my favorite worn out clothes and I notice every time she tries.

Hey Furret. Congrats on getting your diploma. Hope you wind up in a good, fun job. I personally decided to skip college and just go to work myself. Didn't have a choice in my situation tho. Had to work and support myself. If I could have gone to college .... I most likely would have. Just because jobs do look favorably on that college education. I got told by a couple of friends that run businesses that they could care less if people applied with them that had degrees or whatever. They always told me as long as the high school diploma is there then your at least smart enough to learn the job and something about not having to pay as much, etc...

Hello all. Well I can't say I could narrow down why I like the site just to one thing. There are a lot of things I like about it but the games and most the people I have met on here are cool.
As far as not liking ... got two things I guess on that one as well : not being able to delete pictures from albums and I wish the RGR was set up a little better to make finding games easier. Otherwise the site is great.

Hello all. Glad to see this one is still going. Lot of good responses. Anyways I just popped in to add another I thought of from when I was a kid. I remember that when I was about 6 or so I used to go to bed with the salt shaker. Because I heard many times my dad and brother talking about salt being used to keep away ghost. My brother made sure I was plenty scared of ever seeing a ghost. Which I did but that is for another subject. Take it easy all and happy father's day to those fathers in  here today.

Well hello all. This topic didn't take off like I thought it would but oh well. I like some of the responses I got to this. Interesting choices. Haven't seen Game of Thrones yet but me and my wife are hoping to start it soon. Busy watching Sons of Anarchy and House of Cards right now. Really hope that the show is as good as everyone I've talked to says it is.

Hello all and good evening. I see lots of good animes being named in here. Yeah my list is probably much like some in here as it constantly changes on what I like to re-watch but if I had to choose by genre then I have to say sci-fi and mecha would always be my first choices of animes to re-watch. Nice to be able to see kind of what all of you guys/girls like for anime out there. Keep em' coming all. Take it easy.

Hey all. Sorry haven't been on much but have had a lot going on here the past couple of months. Anyways wanted to hop on and say been enjoying the replies to my threads. Also wanted to pop on and add in another belief I used to have as a kid. I used to believe that all the mythological creatures you read about in books were all real. They existed somewhere in the world and would only come out where people could see them during full moons. Full moons as I was lead to believe was when all kinds of craziness can happen. It was never specified what kind of craziness would happen by my uncle who started me on that. Anyways I believe that every full moon these creatures would come out and that it was the best time for me to actually see them. So during full moons I remember I used to camp out near my bedroom window with a snack, drinks, and binoculars. Never saw anything but I tried looking for years till I finally lost that belief.

@ jordan Tell me about it.
I'd love to get a custom name color but no way I could compete with these rich vizzers in here. I see some saying they don't know what to do with the Viz. I'd be happy to take some off your hands ... for a good cause of course. lol
Either way just wanted to pop in and wish everyone good luck with the bidding. It'll be fun to see what the final total and who the winner will be.

SoL@R: I can't narrow it down to one so I have to agree that this is a real hard question to answer. So I guess I will answer by game type and try to keep the list small.
Fighting games : Killer Instinct, Super Street Fighter Turbo, Samurai Showdown.
Platform games : Super Metroid, Ninja Gaiden, Castlevania
Point and Click games : Broken Sword, Syberia, Kings Quest
Strategy games : Civilization, FF Tactics, Heroes of Might and Magic III: Armageddon's Blade
Rpg : Baldur's Gate, FF 3, Wizardry, and Suikoden
Misc. games : Blaster Master, Golden Axe, Mech Warrior.
Could list others but I wanted to keep the list small as possible and not be listing a ton of games. As for me, I personally could care less about graphics for most games I play. I just like them because either the story is good or something about the game just grabs my attention and holds it. All those games I named did that for me. Killed many hours ( and quarters ) playing them.

FaithFighter: For sure and I agree with ya'. There is violence in everything but hey when you let that violence affect you then it is too much. I hear ya' about not running out to get the game. Not everyone is cut out to play violent games. That's why we have other great games that are much less violent. There is too many games out there to really be concerned about ones you wouldn't play anyways. Plain and simple it's up to the adults of the kids to make sure the kids are mentally stable enough to handle the games they buy for them. Anyways have a great day Faith.

Hey all. I know everyone out there that loves anime has had some character in some anime that they just connect with. It can be for any number of reasons but here's a couple of examples of what I mean : Connecting with one because he/she is always out to help people or connecting to him/her because they see themselves as a rebel. Like I said all kinds of reasons. Even if you did not really connect with them then think of it as who was one you found yourself rooting for or wishing you could meet.
So here's my question for y'all : What anime character have you most connected with and please tell us why ?
Oh and what anime ( just in case it is one some one may not have seen ) ?

So here's my question for y'all : What anime character have you most connected with and please tell us why ?
Oh and what anime ( just in case it is one some one may not have seen ) ?
