Lol no. Since we have existed, almost everything bad in the world has gone down (Most crimes, teen pregency etc,) kids tend to be better behaved then say, the early 90s and some of these "statictics" that the older generations like to put on us are either false or directly caused by them. Generational hate has been around since the 400's BC, I really don't get it.

Is there anyway to enter an image for a missing boxart? I want to be able to upload some images of boxarts that are missing but are out there on the internet. I feel like my profile would look a lot better if I was able to add some of the boxart for missing games that still need them. Have I missed on how to do it?

Again, another anime that doesn't seem to get a lot of mainstream love over in the west, however it is a show not to be missed!

Bakemonogatari is based on a teenage Japanese schoolboy named Koyomi Araragi (Or if you have a stutter Ararararraragi) and his romance with Hitagi Senjougahara, a girl who is seemingly weightless due to a crab attack of all things that could have happened...

Story
As already mentioned Koyomi enters a relationship with Hitagi. They meet each other after Hitagi falls down the biggest set of stairs I have ever seen in my life and just happens to fall into Koyomi. Hitagi happens to be some sort of mentalist after pulling out staplers against Koyomi even though he basically just saved her life. However it does turn out she does have a reason for this as she is basically weightless after being attacked by a crab. To fix this Koyomi goes to see his well what should I say. He is some sort of genius that happened to fix Koyomi after he was turned into a vampire. Needless to say Hitagi gives the cutest cry I have ever seen in Anime and gets fixed up. She also becomes friends with Koyomi and the relationship advances as each episode goes past
Their are also several different Arcs that are included in the series. The first is a primary school girl called Mayoi who Koyomi seems to love to stalk. She is basically a "lost Snail" who seems to have a hand fetish because whenever Koyomi gets his stalk on she seems to bite him on his hand. The second girl is a basketball player called Suruga the "Monkey Paw" who happens to have a arm which basically controls itself. She begins to stalk Koyomi after she dates Hitagi although she is a lesbian who happened to be good friends with Hitagi in Middle School although since Hitagi had a problem however never talked again until Suruga's problem is fixed. The third girl is a middle school teenager called Nadeko. She is a friend of one of Koyomi's sisters. She seems to love killing Snakes to lift off her curse which was given to her by one of her friends. She also seems to have a massive crush on Koyomi, dresses up like one of those saucy blondes you see on edgy but not quite there websites made for teenagers in episode 14. She also talks about Doraemon in episode 11. The last arc is a girl that you do see throughout the series called Tsubasa. She was Koyomi's study partner until Hitagi comes along. She turns into a cat that attacks people once her stress level goes to high. A lot of these episodes though were not on TV and had to be watched through the internet.

Art
This art in Bakemonogatari is quality. The opening dialogue that flies across the screen that makes you feel like you had a acid trip is the only thing that doesn't get this section a 10. The rest of it is grear from the normal scenes, the action scenes and the fan service scenes. And the animation is great as well.
Sound
I liked the voices of the characters. I also liked all of the sound effects. I thought the OPs were pretty good with the song in Nadekos arc being the best. I never listen to EDs so I cannot comment on them.

Character
I like most of the characters in Bakemonogatari. My favorites personally were Hitagi, Koyomi, Meme (the genius), Suruga and Nadeko. I loved Hitagi's cold approach to Koyomi and their relationship, Koyomi and his willingness to do anything to any girl he meets, Meme just because how awesome he is, Suruga because she plays basketball and just because she does anything not caring about the people around her and Nadeko because she is cute but a silent snake killer. The only character I really did not enjoy is Mayoi because I really just found her annoying as heck.

Enjoyment
I really enjoyed this series and if anyone does not care that their are a lot of action scenes then you guys should enjoy this anime as well. Although most people regard the series as a success and one of the best Animes of that season I really believe more people (at least in Australia) should give this brilliant series a watch. I give this anime a solid 8/10 with 1 point being deducted because the Anime does go away from the main story a bit during the middle of the series

TornadoMudkip :

Archeops is defentiy cool. I used it quite a bit in the 5th generation and it was a solid member for me. It also has a great design. I think i'll give it a 7.5/10 which is more then I would give most flying types.

The next pokemon to rate is Shuckle!

I was always a Blaziken fan. I don't know but it seems to have the coolest design for me and is the fire starter I have always used the most. Charizard is overrated in my opinion, Typhision is pretty cool and my 2nd favourite, I completely forgot the 4th generation one, I like Emboar a bit but not much and I never played X or Y (got back with Alpha Sapphire). Rapidash is also pretty cool for a non starter, Arcanine is also a boss and Moltres I would say is my favourite legendary fire type due to mainly nostalgia.

Not really sure if this is the best place to put this however, this is a show that the general anime community really needs to know about since it is heavily undertalked about and underrated (due to age I think)

MY DADDY LONG LEGS:

My Daddy Long Legs or Watashi no Ashinaga Ojisan as it is know is a 1990 anime based of the 1912 novel of the same name by Jean Webster. This is a part of Nippon Animation’s World Masterpiece Theatre which was a bunch of novels which were turned into anime by Nippon Animation.

Story

This anime follows Judy Abbott, a child from the John Grier orphanage. She was abandoned in the slums of New York as a baby and was taken in by the orphanage. She is forced to stay there for all of her pre-teen life. Until one day, Judy is selected out of a possible four to go to the prestigious Lincoln Memorial High School in New Jersey by a mystery man. Judy never sees the face of this man however she does the shadows of this man. Due to his freakily long legs in the shadows, Judy affectionalty calls him “Daddy Long Legs”. She also has to write to him every month which is referred to in almost every episode.

It is at this school where we meet her friends, Sallie McBride and Julia Pendleton. There is also another roommate who comes in around episode 20 called Leonora Fenton, however she only lasts a couple of episodes as she is forced into Florida. This series lasts throughout the girl’s high school life, up until its graduation. I like how this is done as the older they get and the more they learn, the more mature they get. This is different from the novel as the novel is based in college. Throughout their time, relationships start to form and more characters start to form, Jervis Pendleton, Julia’s cousin who Julia does not like at the beginning however Judy falls in love with him since he is not your “typical rich person”, Jimmie McBride, Sallie’s brother who is a Quarterback at Princeton University who falls in love with Judy however Julia also develops feelings for him (even going as far to learn American Football), and Bob, Jimmie’s friend and captain of the football team who Sallie also develops some feelings for (however since they are both awkward, this does not really end anywhere). There are also some minor characters introduced who really do not do much in order to me to really talk about them.

The last 15 episodes or so changes the story up a bit since Judy wishes to become more independent. This leads to her arguing with “Daddy Long Legs” and disobeying things by taking jobs despite Daddy telling her not to. She also is taken to a Farm against her wishes (this is most likely set up by Daddy Long Legs since some story plots take place here which may ruin the entire series if I tell them here). Despite this, Judy finally makes up with Daddy. Judy is asked to deliver a speech for the graduating students, Daddy even promises to show up, however he gets very sick and eventually, Judy has to go out and find him. It is here where finally, Daddy Long Legs is revealed.

I rate this story an 8/10

Characters:

Judy: I actually like Judy quite a lot. I do find her to be quite a sympathetic character. I do think she should have listened to her father a lot more during the last arc however I do understand her position based on her lifestyle and the fact that she has never allowed to experience true freedom before. I was cheering for her all throughout this series. She does grow up in maturity as well the teachers at the school (mostly the English one), her friends and especially Daddy Long Legs teach her about the world around her and how to act in situations. She was definitely the best character in the show as a show based around her should be.

Sallie: She is the nice, kind and helpful friend to Judy. She has some quirks like her anxiety to public speaking however for me she was a little too bland. She really does not develop that much which is mostly due to the fact that there really is not many situations that you can develop her. Still, she is not a bad character by any means and won’t make you want to skip forward or anything.

Julia: She starts out as the snobby rich character who starts of as friends with Sallie however Judy doesn't like her. She does however get the 2nd most amount of development behind Judy (Around the time she meets Jimmie is where it really starts) and she does start to get friendlier with Judy. Furthermore, when you see her parents, it does become evident why Julia is not really happy with her life since her parents will make the viewer quite angry and makes Juila a much more sympthic and understandable character. I did really start to feel sorry for her at the end.

Jervis: I did like him, however he really didn't offer much in terms of personality. He is the friendly, goofy guy in the series. I also find it a bit weird how he straight up falls in love with a minor even though he is about 30 however it does make more sense at the end of the series (It is a pretty massive spoiler). Still a pretty good character though as you do really feel his love for Judy

Jimmie: Again likeable, however not given to much development other than his relationships with Judy and Julia. Does seem to be a nice guy, even though he blatantly ignores Julia’s feelings for him because of his feelings with Judy.

The other characters are really not given enough screen time or development for me to really comment on them too much.

I rate these characters a 7.5/10

Art

I love the art. Not because of the actual art style or quality since it is good for the time but not specular. What really gets me is the fact that they ACTUALLY manage to make the characters grow. Not from teenager to adult or kid to teenager but year to year, the 3 girls actually do grow in height. This is especially noticeable from flashbacks. I believe not enough anime that last years have this sort of continuous physical growth and that this should be more prevalent. I did have a few problems with the art/animation (especially those basketball scenes) however they are not really noticeable enough to ruin this series

I rate the art at an 8.5/10

Conclusion

I like this anime a lot. It is not the best series out there I’ll admit however if you are looking a good lengthy show or perhaps an older style show then this would be a good one to watch. Your views may be different in terms of how you feel of the characters or story however I do believe this is suitable for pretty much everyone.

I give the series an overall rating of 8/10

Yeah I agree with Vanelan, I would say a lot of the worst games comes from games that literally no body talks about. Try going through some of the filler on consoles such as the Atari 2600 or the Commodore 64. There will most likely be a lot more games on those consoles alone that aren't talked about as well that are probably much worse then ET. I will admit though, Hong Kong 97 is just terrible however I really doubt that was a serious attempt at a game. Superman 64 is pretty bad as well since the controls on it are absolutely messed up.

Oh man are you a big racing fan as well? So am I. Anyway Vizzed is a great place to check out games, especially since it does have homebrew/hacked games which can be pretty hard to find anywhere else. And of course english translated games!. Anyway, be sure to check out Netplay, You could have quite a lot of fun over there with other people when it is active!

I would recommend Clannad to anybody looking to start getting into Anime. It was the first one that I managed to watch in Japanese sub and wow, it is possibly the best choice I could have ever made. It seriously features some of the best characters I have still been able to find in an anime so far, (I mean I have only watched about 50 so its not the greatest sample size ever but still) the two main characters are developed brilliantly, as separate people and together as a couple. The supporting characters also get there own episodes decidcated to them which really gives them characters as well. The second season is even better as it explores how life really is outside of school as well as giving the main couple more development as they deal with adulthood. And god, the ending, I'm not going to spoil it but it is one of the most emotional things I have ever seen. Seriously, everyone who is reading this, go ahead and watch this. It is not one of the most highly rated shows for no reason.

And I was 13 when I watched this so OP should be able to get through with this no problem.

Not gonna lie while there are quite a few people born on November 9, it doesn't seem quite as stacked as a lot of over dates posted here. Of the people I do know though,

Chris Jericho - Professional wrestler, absolutely love his work, so great on the mic <3
Caroline Flack - TV Presenter, never really seen her or anything but I have heard her name quite a few times before, not really sure why though.
Scarface - Rapper, I believe he was a part of the Wu Tang Clan, I'm pretty sure i've heard him before, can't quite remember though.
French Montana - Rapper, never really heard his music, I have been meaning to do that however.
Alessandro Del Piero - Footballer, one of the best to come out of Italy, played in Australia as well for a couple of seasons.
Delta Goodrem - Australian Music Star, her music is pretty good and catchy however god her personality on The Voice is so annoying and it can get so grating at times.

I'm going to be saying Runescape. So many memories of me leveling up my skills, getting rare drops from some of the toughest monsters in the game and in general, just making my trade in the exchanging and making quite a few friends. Unfortunately some of updates that have come out recently and especially time have really turned my interest in Runescape down a lot. I try and come back to it every so often however everytime I try, I usually start playing for a week, trying to level up some of my lower level skills, start getting bored, maybe go and kill some monsters and then my interest goes done completely and I stop playing the game again. There is still so many memories I have kept for around 10 years so I'll still say Runescape is my favourite PC game of all time.

Hey guys , I'm am looking to buy the beta access for the Sega Saturn play (and does it work for playstation as well?). Anyway, would you guys please help me out . I have been trying to save up, but every time, I always seem to find a game I want to do for my video series and costs me Viz and i'm not a good enough writer to crictiqite or write any reviewsI feel like the Saturn stuff would give me a lot more options on what to do since my favourite genre is shoot em ups. Thanks in advance for any help!

Pretty good review. You might want to make it longer though and more detailed.

Nice review! I would change the colour of the text so that it is easier to read though.

Good review. You could do better with making it looking more professional but you got the detail right.
