Curious... You rated the Difficulty a 9, but the way you described it... Why not a 10? :o Also, as far as the sound, if you listen to some of the Pokémon cries closely, some of them are muffled a little. Blaziken is the worst that I've noticed. It literally sounds like someone blew into the microphone as they were trying to turn it off or something (I don't know how they record the cries). Other than that, nice review My only suggestion has already been stated: space it out a little bit. |

I agree. In previous games and hacks, I found myself training only the starter Pokémon and using everyone else in my team as cannon fodder while I revive my starter, whenever he fainted. I knew that I would have to train a full team of Pokémon for this hack, and in my first ever Pokémon game or 2, I was doing that anyway. But I noticed that I would always rely on the evolutions, because of better stats and more diverse move sets. The evolution ban is really difficult, because I was stuck with an Azurill whom I can't evolve, and it learns its last move at level 21 (water gun I think). It has been stored in the box, because it's not a very strong Pokémon. My Zigzagoon on the other hand was pretty decent. Especially his Pick-up ability. I got several rare candies, free potions (including 2 hyper's at the beginning of the game), full heals and repels all for free, just for walking around and training my team. However, my Zigzagoon has passed away as well I'm definitely going to have to play through this again when I'm done, without the Nuzlocke rules. That way I can catch 'em all, and do what I want This is by far one of the most interesting hacks I've played, and the Nuzlocke adds some extra fun to it. I'm forced to be extra cautious, or risk losing one of treasured Pokémon forever. I've never had to be cautious before in a Pokémon game, none of them have been challenging in the slightest I'm definitely going to have to play through this again when I'm done, without the Nuzlocke rules. I've just recently figured out what a Nuzlocke is. It's basically a challenge a person gives themselves, with extra rules to make a game more difficult and interesting. Has anyone tried to Nuzlocke this yet? Or am I the first one to try? This is my first attempt at a Nuzlocke, and these are the rules that I am going by: -Any Pokémon that faints is considered dead, and must be either released or permanently boxed. -The player may only catch the first Pokémon they encounter in each area, and only once. If the first Pokémon encountered faints or flees, there are no second chances. Also if the first encounter is a double battle in dark grass, the player gets to choose which Pokémon they would like to catch. If the Pokémon has already been caught in another area, you may skip it and count the next encounter as the first for the area. -Voluntarily using save states is banned. I will only use them when I am done for the night, so that I can continue the next day (I prefer save states over in game saves. They're more reliable) -Starter Pokémon is based on Trainer ID #. I wound up with the fire starter, Torchic. -The player may not evolve captured Pokémon, but evolved Pokémon may be caught. I count the starter as being given to me, not caught. -Each gym badge counts as a "Checkpoint", in case of a game over. Purely as a mercy rule. -A black out/white out is considered a "Game Over". -If the player has no Pokémon that can use a certain field move that is required to continue through any given point of the game, they may catch another Pokémon that can learn said field move. However, it cannot be used in battle for any reason, and must be released, permanently boxed, or migrated as soon as the player gets another Pokémon that can use said field move. This does not count towards the one catch per area. -Disallow fleeing. So far, my Nuzlocke has been successful. I have just gotten past the first gym, and the little team aqua disturbance with stealing the Devon Goods. In my process of grinding my team, I wound up losing my beloved Weed (A level 21 Bellsprout) to an arrogant Magby. May he rest in peace. -Any Pokémon that faints is considered dead, and must be either released or permanently boxed. -The player may only catch the first Pokémon they encounter in each area, and only once. Is this much different from Pokemon Expert Emerald? It sounds like it's the same. But the name makes it sound like it's less difficult. |

I didn't come across any glitch with the elite four. I fought the first region's elite four numerous times in order to train my Pokémon. I haven't heard anything about having to save in game after beating them. As for this hack, each town is set up differently, there's more legendaries, Pokémon from all of the current games (Including black and white), and fossils are given out by some random guys spread out throughout the game. I understand the boredom factor, but lately I've had a thing for playing the hacks. I can't really explain it. Sometimes I'm just feeling like playing a classic from my childhood |

I have nothing better to do so I guess I'll write a review for this game. I'll start of with describing the graphics. I rated the Graphics as a 9 because compared to a majority of the other games, their pretty decent. Most of the hacks I've played use very similar graphics, and it makes for a semi-boring game, but the graphics on here at least make the game play a bit more interesting. I don't really pay attention to shades or what different tiles are so I can't really give this section a great review... The reason I didn't rate this section as a 10, is because the graphics are still a little bit buggy. I remember in one town, there was a building where it would look as if you're standing on the roof instead of behind the building. Sound... I rated this a 7, because as far as I could tell it just copied the music of the gba games. Not that the sounds on the gba games are bad, but after playing the Pokémon series for countless years the sounds get old after awhile... I would have liked to see an upgrade to the sound in this hack, but extra content added makes up for everything. Besides, I fast forwarded for most of the game. Addictiveness... It's a fairly addictive game. Anybody who has played and beaten Pokémon Emerald will enjoy this game. It's kind of like the Gold/Silver/Crystal versions combined with Emerald. There's not much to do after you beat the World Championship... But there is an entire second region, complete with 8 gyms and a new, stronger elite four to beat. I rated the story as an 8 because it's not much different from the typical Pokémon game. Set out on a quest to beat Gym Leaders, get badges, fight your rivals numerous times, beat the Elite 4, become the champion... All the while attempting to stop a gang of villains from accomplishing their sinister plots. However, Team Steam had a new goal compared to the other villains in the gba games, and there's an entire second region to explore, so that's why I rated this an 8. The Depth category of this game is DEFINETLY rated a 10. This game clearly took a long time to make. The elite four of the second region seems like a more powerful version of the first regions elite four... But they have a few different Pokémon on their teams. The world championship has 7 rounds and can't be healed in between them... There are a ton of rivals in this game, I think at least 3 or 4. The gyms are all unique, with new layouts and customized teams. Pokémon are available from all generations, including every possible legendary known to man (Although a majority of them can only be caught after defeating the second region's elite four)... Can't really think of anything else to add to this category. It took me 2 days of nearly non-stop play to actually beat this game. As for a little side note I'd like to add... This game is without a doubt worth looking into. The only downside is it has a tendency to glitch up if you use the in game save and reset your game... I would recommend sticking with save states, I never had a single issue with this game. The only glitches I encountered were beneficial ones (Nearly unlimited masterballs, a way to rematch one of the trainers, etc.). Oh, and several towns in the second region can't be flown to, even after you visit their Pokémon Centers. You could have just posted where you got the information from. It's clearly copy/pasted from http://wesleyfg.weebly.com/legendary-pokeacutemon.html. They're listed in the same order, with the same mistakes and capitalization as listed on the site. "TM. DRAKEN" is supposed to be Mt. Draken. Not that it was your error... Just don't like it when people don't cite their sources. It's as if they're trying to take credit for someone else's work. |

Hey, I'm just curious as to what the fastest way to train on here is... I've beaten the Lauren league, and the World Championship (Just barely), but I'd like a team of level 100's before I quit... My previous method was to fight the Zeur or whatever Elite Four and Champion, then fly back and do it again and again and again, while giving an exp share to the Pokémon I wanted to level up. I've got 3 level 80's from this, and a level 70. All of my other Pokémon are weak. Is this the fastest method or is there a faster way (Maybe through a glitch or something?) |

This game is decent and would be worth playing if it were complete. However the game stops after route 5, and you can only get 2 of the 8 gym badges. |

Hey guys, as the title says... I'm new to this forum. I haven't had any issues getting games to work in the past but lately, whenever I try to load a game it tells me to click a "Reset" button, which simply isn't there. Can someone help me figure out how to play these games? |
